Get the eff out of here with that nonsense.
We have the number one offense per play in the country. You have a big eared chimp running a the 100th best offense in the county. You made UGA, who got run out of the building by USCe, look like the steelers.
"It's not the SEC conference vs. the ACC conference," "It's Florida State vs. Auburn." --Lamarcus Joyner
Yeah yeah yeah...
You lost to NC state. Don't throw stones in your glass house.
Why the SEC love? I get the media spin, the SEC is a Defense dominant conference with 5 teams in the top 25 for total defense. But what if it’s not that the “D” is great, but the “O” is awful?
Only Texas A&M (#5) has a Nationally ranked top 20 total offense.
SEC teams sem to struggle against out of conference teams. Case in point, Bowling Green ranked 76 for total offense still laid 327 yards and 14 points on UF. East Carolina ranked 84th put over 400 yards on SC. Akron rolled up 344 total yards on Tenn. For the record there is not an SEC team in the top 20 of nationally ranked rushing or passing offenses.
So does the SEC really play the college world’s best “D” or do they simply suck and hide it by avoiding tough out of conference games?

On Nov. 24th FSU will light up FU and Clemson will light up USCe. The defense in the SEC is overrated this year; the offense is flat-out awful.

"I never knew I had a foot until I noticed it was on your neck"
One problem spot when comparing positions.....We only average a net 21 yards per punt! To illustrate just how bad this stat really is, the runner up for worst net punting, meaning the team ranked next to last, averages 28.2 net yards per punt! We're 7.2 yards worse than the next best team. Ouch. We're third worst in the country in punting average.
Meanwhile UF is second in the nation in both categories. If we lose a close one to them, you can bet their punting advantage probably makes the difference. They're netting 44.7 yards per punt. So, let's say in our game each team punts 6 times. That gives them 142 yard advantage on special teams that our offense and defense have to make up for.
Check out the attached…..very telling.

Nole offensive stats against ranked opponents are as followed...
Against Number 10 Clemson:
Total Yards 667 yards; Passing 380yards; Comp-Att 27-35; Yards per pass 10.9; Rushing 287yards; Yards per rush 7.2; Penalties 11-81
So, as you internet hooligans say: come at me, brah.

That made me laugh, thanks Cuthbert
So we consider Clemson's defense a ranked teams defense?
O wait West Virgina just scored
Oh, right, we're still living in last year. How is your 7-6 record coming?
They're a ranked team are they not?
And you're kidding yourself if you think UGA's defense has been playing well this season, and they shut you guys down.
I actually agree with you... its a toss up game between two rivals that is IMO the most important game of that week.... honestly if Gameday hadn't already been in Tally it would be there again...
Walking up these hills you have no choice but to be fast!
Numbers look good, keep in mind where as our cream puffs were at the beginning of the season, UF has 2 before our game, so pretty much assume 3 weeks prep for FSU with 2 scrimmages against other teams in between. They will have alot of prep for us. Then again we do have Maryland with a LB as QB before them.
USC-pathetic offensive output, defense and ST's won it and field position.
LSU-freshman QB. Stop the run and LSU is done. FSU can run and throw.
TAMU-is not a top team at all. Average. They dominate poor teams and get beat by good ones. Nothing to see here.
UGA-dominated your offense all game long.
FSU vs NCST-poor poor 2nd half by FSU and our Offense was dominated.
Miami-125 yards in penalties several were obvious officiating errors as pointed out by the broadcast team and 5 fumbles led to a poor 1st half that somehow FSU still led. Blowout in 4th quarter.
USF-FSU's offense sputtered but made plays when it needed to.
Stopped reading after this. If you have no idea what you're talking about, then don't give such a rambling opinion. LSU's QB was a freshman in 2009 at UGA. He transferred, played 2010 in Juco, then went to LSU where he's been the last 2 seasons. The announcers say this shizz every game Mettenberger plays in. Guess I should just say "FSU lost to NC state's womens field hockey team" if we are just skewing anything to make the other guy look bad...
I see what you're saying, but Mettenberger is still complete trash. The fact that he's a JR or whatever he is doesn't help your case.
He is terrible. In no way is he good. I'm making a point. I know we are rivals and have burning hatred towards each other in the football realm, but just know your facts when you go on a tirade. I have watched bits and pieces of FSUs games this season, so I keep my opinions minimum. CT was an awesome back, Kelvin B is a freak, and EJ is good, but I don't see him as a championship QB in that system. I also saw Mike Glennon look like garbage against Tennessee, which baffled me seeing FSU lose that game. If you don't want our games in full detail, how is your opinion valid?
Good thing that won't matter since we play FU at home.
