Them losing this game and not receiving a championship this year makes up for us losing to them .. Thank you Louisville
I'm glad they lost but us losing to them with THAT offense will sting for a year. I actually like our chances next season.
You right, but we brought home 2 trophies nothing better than that
Bring home 2 trophies with a win over the gates would've been better. :)
Hell no. Nothing will ever justify losing to the Gators short of a championship and even then it will still sting and linger for a whole year until we can redeem ourselves. It's a mentality you should avoid as well. I can't even justify talking ish to them right now during a golden opportunity because of that embarrassing game we played against them.

I never thought they were that great anyway. They got tamu and Johnny football in his first SEC game. Lsu just isn't all that and I believe they lost 2 starting LBs in that game. EJ played the worst game of his career vs them. Some of his inta were throws a high school kid wouldn't make.
Plus thei o is nothing to brag about either. They have a QB who can't throw, to a sorry WR corp that can't get open.
Their defense lacked any real depth. I'm fact their whole team did. Any number of injuries could have severely affected their season. But they got lucky and for the most part stayed healthy. But luck is part of it.
The negative momentum from that lose going into 2013 is a good thing I guess? But their class is stacked anyway.
FSU really beat them themselves in that game florida really didnt look impressive to me even with the win.. EJ was just sloppy
I think they will have a horrible 2013 year honestly
I like our chances next year. Especially with Floyd and Elam going to the draft.
Toughest thing to come to terms with is that L'ville had a much better O gameplan than us & executed it.
A month to come up with that game plan really helps.Ville definitely had an excellent game plan, in the end that was the same gators team all year, just far less lucky. Similar to the Gates prepping for us for 3 weeks and having 2 scrimmages in between.

UF had been playing a lot longer than a month before we played them. My point that our gameplan, not execution & preparation was lacking. Yes, EJ & the O failed to execute but IMO our/Jimbos gameplan was wrong. Not only did L'ville execute, but its O gameplan was very different than ours.
We have currently like 8-10 threads about them, and they are no where to be found. Love how they crawl back into their hole when they get stomped.
Nice to see them lose, but nothing erases that loss from my memory
Yep had nothing to do with 5 turnovers.
What stood out to me about that game was two things:
Gator turnover luck didn't show up this game
Their players were out of control and playing dirty resulting in multiple game changing penalties.
Gameplan is partially responsible for the O turnovers...just look at last nights game: L'villes OC had a gameplan that was built for success against UFs elite D: run quick, short-intermediate passing routes to set up the run, unlike Jimbos.
Honestly, its very possible that L'villes O (QB, WRs, OL, etc) is just much better than ours: they were able to pass and run all night whenever they wanted. But IMO L'ville just has a better O system/OC than we do.

There are 2 kinds of turnovers
Taking the ball way, and having it given to you by a poor play from the offense
UF was a great at " taking " the ball away, so I wouldn't call their ability to create turnovers luck at all
EJ throwing it to them wasn't them taking it away. EJ had worst game of career
One game does not = a season
UF was great at taking the ball away all year, like when a true freshman LB stuck EJ and made him cough the ball up
What I saw was a better QB making the throws, many times in very tight areas, splitting defenders and putting the ball in a place only his receiver could get it. Unfortunately, that is not EJ.
Lol, blind luck that contact happened that way and EJ got knocked out.
False, it was a great play by that kid and when you knock somebody out they usually drop the ball
It wasn't luck EJ fumbled it, the only thing that would have been lucky is if EJ held on to the ball
