GO NOLES! / SCALP EM!
A starting 5 of bookert, miller, wiggins, white, Turpin is more then capable of making a run. Bookert was the least recruited player of that 5 and besides wiggins might be the best player.
Sit Miller and add X-Ray. Let Miller come off the bench. He was effective doing that his first year. X-Ray is a scorer and we need that. Guy put 50+ on a team recently with Wiggins on his team. Also if OJO can develop he can be the answer down low at 7'1 300lbs. Turpin is better atm, but doesn't have the upside of Ojo. I really think Brandon can be special. We saw some explosive spurts. He just needs to be consistent.

Really? Lose 2 of the top 3 scorers from last years abysmal team. Add Wiggins and Mayes and tada, FSU runs through the ACC and NCAA. lol Team has too many "players to be developed" and not enough players.
Defense is our strength and the sole reason for our 20 win seasons. We had too many new comers on the team for the defense to be effective. I expect that to take a 180 degree turn next season with the experience and length on the team. If you add a legitimate high-end scorer to this team, to supplement to scoring ability of White, then you have a chance to be a pretty good team; especially if Bookert takes that next step (reduce our TOs and we're tough to beat).
Shannon averaged 7 points per game as a #3 scorer and that's bench points on most teams. He was the benefactor of youth.
Why do some Fsu fans get upset when someone says that kansas or some other basketball school is better for wiggins. Honestly the only reason he is considering Fsu is his parents. I personally dont think it is a good decision for him to go to Fsu. School has little to no history and very little fan support in basketball. If you are objective at all you would think the same.
The support is good when we are solid. When we won the ACC it was great. We just have not had enough time at the top to stay interested. That will come with Wiggins if we play well.
There are a number of reasons why it makes sense for him to choose FSU. He will be the #1 pick in next year's draft no matter what school he plays for, so it's not like coming here would "cost" him anything.
Some people like to be the first something rather than the next something. At FSU, he would be a legend the likes of which we have never seen before. At Kentucky, UNC, or Kansas he would probably be a special player in their lore, but no more so than a handful of other star players that have passed through those programs (and will continue to pass through them in the future).
He would also be the unquestioned #1 option at FSU, which I would think has some appeal to someone who is essentially using college as an audition for the NBA. And he'd be able to play alongside a close friend in pursuit of the feasible challenge of elevating the program to once-in-a-generation heights. That's not nothing, either.
As for the lack of fan support, I guarantee we would see a dramatic surge in ticket sales/attendance/interest if he chooses the 'Noles.
"I never knew I had a foot until I noticed it was on your neck"
If he signs with us watch the fan support go through the roof! It's not like playing at UNC, UK, or KU, but the arena will be packed and the fans will be crazy. He can chart his own course here and not be just another Wildcat. He can do something truly special in Tallhassee, that's why I think, objectively speaking, choosing FSU is the boldest choice, and the best choice. Regardless, when he's leaves he's the first pick in the draft.

I certainly hope he picks FSU, but believe UNC or KU would fit him better. Even UK though they have too many egos on that team IMO.
