Did you say that Michigan looked MEH? They were getting beat 31-0 with 3 minutes left in the FIRST HALF, MEH?
Denard Robinson looks horrible - and it's not just Bama's D doing it.
meh means looked like crap lol
GO NOLES! / SCALP EM!
They were ranked waaaay too high imo and are getting exposed
Ok we got 3 turnovers. 1 int and 2 fumbles. Nice! I like how our new punter pinned them deep inside the 20 a few times. Although his long when we were backed up was only 39yds. Hope he can get that average up to at least the mid 40's

I'm good with it for the 1st game of the year. I'm not sold and I won't believe until the Clemson game, but it's a good start.
Side note: When I first walked in the game I couldn't believe how big Menelik was.
Kenny Powers: "A true champion will do whatever it takes to rise above. Because surrender is death, and death is for pussies."
We looked really good in the 2nd half. We were a bit inconsistent on both sides of the ball in the 1st half. Manuel had a few poor throws to open guys even though some of them the WRs were still able to catch. He and the offense ended the half with a great 2-minute drill, though. The defense gave up two long drives to Murray State in the first half where they just dink and dunked us to death. I imagine we weren't trying to show too many coverages or blitz packages but we should've still been able to prevent those back-to-back long(ish) drives.
I guess we made some adjustments at the half (ya think?) and we wound up scoring on every possession and the defense just did not allow Murray State to get ANYTHING going in the 2nd half.
Top 10 team? Probably not. It's hard to gauge due to the opponent.
Just wanted to add that EJ's pick was on Shaw. He bobbled the ball 3x and gift wrapped the int
The game was close for one series.
We executed for the most part, didnt commit a ton of penalties. Team looked well prepared and conditioned. We did what we were suppoesed to do, which FSU hasnt done in the first game in a long time. I cant remember the last time we pulled the 1s early enough to get the 2s enough work to pull them and see the 3s for almost a quarter. That reminded me of the old days right there.
Benjamin will live up the hype.

The take away from this game is the OL and the running game. Outstanding! I know we played against an FCS team, but our two biggest questions marks may no longer be question marks. Cam, in particular, was terrific!!
And EJ was very good. He's just smart and poised and the game seems to have really slowed down for him.
The Future is Now.
Won't know til Clemson
We scored 14 points in the 1st quarter when we could have easily scored 28 points. We came out flat. I would love for us to be aggressive and just flat out dominate. When we get into the season and play better quality opponents we must score tds early and often. I believe our defense will keep us in our games but our offense must be able to strike.

The jury will be out until the Clemson game
Send the tigers home with their tails between their legs and that should put us in as a solid top 10
Life is good. Now lets go win another championship.
You got it.
I totally agree.
I'm adding OU to the list of meh. OU is tied 7-7 middle of the 2nd to UTEP. UTEP has missed 2 chip shot field goals too or they would be leading.
Oregon looks good too. They look like a top 5 team atm.

Again, the game was close for one series
Yeah let's be honest here. We won't know anything until we play real opponents.
Yes. FSU beat a team like it was supposed to, which is an improvement.
However, this is a team that Jacksonville State has scheduled for homecoming, and the improvements in the second half were made against this team who had began subbing to protect starters and give the big game experience.
At this point, we know nothing more than we did what we were supposed to do.
Doing what we're supposed to do and actually doing what we're supposed to do is entirely different. There was a lot to learn from yesterday's game, just ask Fisher and the rest of our staff.
How did Moody look at LB?
USC is gonna shred Oregon's defense. OU will score, but a lot of it was because they had all day to work. Oregon is not a top ten team.

They gave up 530 yards to Arkansas State. Ugly defense.
