Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher has won. A lot. Since 2010, only nine FBS programs -- none from the ACC -- have more total wins than Fisher. Only two
Coach speak. However, an 11 win season, conference title and BCS appearance is a lot to be proud of, despite our expectations.
Pretty sure he would prefer to be playing in a week instead of a couple days. But there were a lot of things accomplished this season - ACC Championship, return to BCS, double-digit victories.

True, but all in all I would say that our team's play has been a HUGE disappointment. Especially Jimbo's offense.
Regardless of some people not wanting to admit it, we took the next step. You can't win National Titles without winning your conference. We haven't done that in a long time. Possibly winning 12 games for only the second time in school history is also big. Yes, I know we all wanted a National title, but only two teams get to play for it.. We missed on it, but we made progress towards it. The team still has something to work towards.. I think Coach Fisher continues to grow in his position and will continue to get better. The man is no fool and continues to surround himself with coaches and players to get the job done.
I'm proud of the team and the coaching staff for taking the next step. Hopefully we as a fanbase can see all of the good that happened this season and not just dwell on the bad. I know some on here will never see the good in Coach Fisher, but let it be know we are damn lucky to have him as our coach. The guy gets it.

I consider the overall record to be a meets expectations type grade but the way some games played out was mind blowing.
Of course, because a top 20 offense is a huge dissappointment.....
yeah. i watched the games. the offense was completely inept at times against not only good teams, but also against some bad teams. the play calling was pretty bad all season as well (i'm still scratching my head about that shotgun delay draw out of the endzone at VT). all things considered, especially with out talent, the offense was a huge disappointment.
i can agree with this.
The accomplishments are fine....the way the team looked was not.
Would you consider the following teams offenses huge dissapointments ? Alabama, Georgia, USC, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Boise State, LSU, Florida, I can go on and on.. FYI, our offense was better than all of theirs.. Before you talk about weak schedule. Go look at Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Boise State and some of the other teams everyone wants to be like...
We have some situational things that need to be cleaned up, but we're closer than you might think...
I think what he follows that up with is equally as important:
"Am I satisfied? No."
when I look back at this season I will only remember losing to NC State after being up 16-0 a the half and getting physically dominated by UF at home
our 11-2 record is a reflection of a bad ACC, not a great FSU team
I recall FSU going 6-6 in a bad ACC not too many years ago. I would rather look bad in a win then look bad in a loss. I'll remember 2012 as the year FSU won the conference championship.
He also said he was not satisfied. There is a huge gulf between disappointed and not satisfied.
It was a good season, not a great one. But at the beginning of the season, if somebody said we would have 11 wins and an ACC championship, most of us would have been happy. We had one hugely disappointing loss and a couple of other games that were closer than they should have been, but it was generally a good season.
Everything in that article is 100% truth. Best article that cow has ever written IMO.
So what were the 4,5,6 loss seasons a reflection of?
couldn't have said it better myself.
We are where we need to be. We are in the mix. To get to the big game you have to have the ball bounce your way a time or two in the regular season. That did not happen for us this year, but we are there. We were a blocked punt and some unfortunate turnovers short. Had the ball bounced our way we would be playing a week later. This season is indicative of the type of seasons we need to be having. Tactically there may be disappointment, but strategically we should all be very excited.
