Via Bob Ferrante:
Jeremy Pruitt and Sal Sunseri contracts not available yet, but annual salary of $540K for Pruitt and $199K for Sunseri. So Pruitt will make about $540K, just south of where Mark Stoops was in 2012 (about $575K). Again, these are "offer letters" and not signed contracts for Pruitt and Sunseri. But dollar figures should remain similar in the end.

Sunseri took a huge step down financially. I expect some kind of supplement. I believe I've read that Stoops earned much more than the 575,000 he earned as a base.
I am sure Sunseri helped FSU out since he's getting cash from the Vols. 199K is a STEAL
Thanks for posting, Chris.
I would expect these numbers to rise when FSU factors in the performance-related incentives (ACC championship, etc.) and then speaking engagements.
The contracts won't be released until after the bowl game, but we will keep you all updated.
Sunseri is still due money from Tennessee, so he will be able to live comfortably.
I could see how I'd struggle on 199k
Tennessee will pay him 600k for the next 2 season, so they are paying him DC money to coach Ends or LBs for us.... Love it
*Looks at my cupboard of ramon noodles* I would be ok

Pops open a pbr and sighs
Can you imagine getting paid just 200k to coach football? I'd be in heaven.
That's $114,126.50 after income and FICA taxes. A touch over $9K a month take home.
That wouldn't cover even my hooker expenses. I'd have to moonlight as a male prostitute to cover my horse tranquilizer addiction.
That's assuming he doesn't have good write offs. He'd have to be an idiot to pay that much in taxes.
Also, are you sure about that math? Are you saying he'd be paying 42% in taxes?

Sunseri will get a massive raise, probably in the 350k to 400k range if he is still on staff in 2 years. I anticipate that, like Chizik, any coaching money he earns is taken out of what ut gives him so he took the least Amount without ut suing for bad faith
if our D improves from good to great under his watch in 2 years he'll be leaving to be a DC somewhere
Expect Sunseri to bide his time here until he finds a better DC situation than the one he found in Tenn. On that note 199k for his qualifications is a damn good deal, but then again he is only coaching DE's.
Yep. I expect him to get paid more next season, not including what he makes through speaking engagements and what not. Elliot made more than he's making.
I would keep in mind that it's entirely possible that Pruitt is gone after next year, or the next, but soon, to go back to bama and be their DC. Saban has pretty much said that if Smart left, Pruitt would have been promoted to DC. Who knows, maybe Sunseri is Jimbo's DC succession plan?
Tennessee owes him for 2013 and 2014, he's basically being paid $800,000 to just coach DEs... Why would we pay him more?
I'm not saying we should, I'm saying others will if we don't. Hence why I think he'll make more next year. We're paying him well below his market value.
