I figured it would be fun to go back and look at last year's predictions as we get ready to drop our 2013 predictions tonight. Here was the final post I made the night before Signing Day:
I made my original prediction nearly three weeks ago (19 days) and now it’s time to revisit them the night before Signing Day. Only about 12 hours until pen hits paper on those LOI’s, here are my Final Predictions
** Confidence % is the amount of confidence I have in the pick I’m making.
Original Prediction: Florida State (65% confidence)
Darby has had a very quiet recruitment. Back in early January I heard whispers that FSU was in it. A few days later he decommitted from Nortre Dame and it’s been an Auburn/FSU battle. I think track gives FSU the edge in this one.
Final Prediction: Florida State (70% confidence)
Original Prediction: Florida State (70% confidence)
The last time I made these predictions it was FSU, Auburn and Alabama in the hunt for Goldman. With Alabama now eliminated it’s just down to two, Auburn and FSU. Goldman has gone underground with his recruitment as of late, not a word coming out of that camp.
Final Prediction: Florida State (90% confidence)
Original Prediction: Didn’t make one
This is one of the craziest recruitments I’ve been a part of. I wouldn’t be surprised if Dante makes his decision while standing over the UF/FSU hats tomorrow.
Final Prediction: Florida State (65% confidence)
Original Prediction: Florida (52% confidence)
My how things have changed. Once a FSU/UF battle things have turned heavily in favor of the Canes who got Howard in on the last visit.
Final Prediction: Miami (55%)
Original Prediction: Florida State (95%)
I thought he would probably have decommitted from Miami by now, but it doesn’t change how I feel.
Final Prediction: Florida State (80% confidence)
Original Prediction: Florida (51% confidence)
Not much has changed, except Florida State is basically out of it. I think distance could be an issue, but Mom didn’t go on his USC official visit for no reason.
Final Prediction: USC (75% confidence)
Original Prediction: Auburn (65% confidence)
Williams took a visit to FSU, a mid-week visit to Florida and canceled his trip to Miami. There is a lot of USC chatter right now, but I feel he stays in state.
Final Prediction: Florida (60% confidence)
Original Prediction: Texas A&M (70% confidence)
Talk about things taking a 180….Blake was not heavily recruited by FSU until late in December/January. His visit sealed it.
Original Prediction: Georgia (55% confidence)
This one is up for grabs since Clemons doesn’t talk. He’s an out of state commit, had a great visit to FSU. I just don’t think UGA misses on the top three LB’s in state; Dillon Lee, Markus Eligwe and Clemons.
Final Prediction: Georgia (50.5% confidence)

Prett much nailed last year. I haven to say I don't know if want to see this years lol.
I think we add Gus Edwards, Stacy Coley, Wilson Bell, lose Bellamy, Keith Bryant, and not sure we land anyone other than that. Luckily Coley is a superstar so that's something to fist pump about on NSD.
Matthew Thomas and Jalen Ramsey are our two chances at finishing with a class worthy of going to the national board and bragging even at all. But it's fine, we will be very very good this fall and can recover in a resounding way in 2014.
i think matthew thomas' recruitment is similar to nelson agholars.
Pretty much agree with this although I have a hunch that we keep Bellamy even though signs are definitely pointing towards him going to UTjr or UGA. I also think we add a "Trickett special" to the list of guys here. In addition, I feel that we have a good chance to land one big target that might be a bit of a surprise.. Either Thomas, Kirkland, Bower, or Ramsey. I think Bower is the least likely and Matthew Thomas is the most likely.
Unless we pull some surprises, put this class down as a disappointment IMO. Nothing to freak out over (outside of maybe the OL), but we didn't continue our recruiting momentum. We have a class filled with several good, solid players, but no great players IMO (of course, this is recruiting and some 3* we never really talked about might become a lock down corner for 3 years for us like Rhodes). With the way this class looks like it'll finish, the 2014 class will be very important to add a lot of OL, and some great players at skill positions (think Sony, Daub and others).
everyone expects him to pick the u. visits fsu with his mom.
iunno. grasping for straws lol

Did Harvey Clemons redshirt?
