Anyone have any idea how reliable that dude posting on Scout is?
Just sounds like more speculation.
Not sure just thought it looked official enough to pass on.
Interesting how nonchalant all of them are, planning divisions, etc. I mean not one of them suggests it isn't happening. It's like they know something we don't.
Since West Virginia is not actually in the Big 12 or that is what I understand. Luck could be having the conversation between everyone and therefore it would not be tampering by us. But that is just a guess and I am not a legal person.
I am pretty sure the guy that originated the thread had been excused as a fake. Almost certain he created several other screens names to back his stories.
Take it for it's worth..

I wish, but I doubt this guy knows what he is talking about.
"Some people think football is a matter of life and death, I assure you, it is much more serious than that."
I think they're just assuming you won't pass up a chance to get a $10-20m a year raise competing in one of the 4 football conferences.
I'm on Scout as well, from what I hear this dude is pretty knowledgeable and is a credible source. Another guy on the Longhorns site says he has close ties with the athletic department at UT and has said it's pretty much a done deal. The Big 12 has been going through the back channels with FSU and others for a while, BEFORE the Big 12/SEC agreed to a BCS Bowl. The SEC knew about the Big 12 going after FSU and others to strengthen their conference..........one big reason they agreed from what I'm hearing.
This is what caught my eye. Would the SEC agree to this match-up without being assured that the Big 12 is strengthening?
Whoever MHver3 is, that guy has yet to be wrong. Take this as true insider info......
^^^^^This. I don't know if this dude is a booster or not, but he knows some people in high places at WVU. When this dude speaks, it's usually truth. And it's looking more and more like a reality.
Exactly. Obviously when the Pac-12/B1G 10 made their deal, the SEC and Big 12 was going to fall in line with their own deal. So the Big 12, already having interest in FSU, probably told the SEC its plans to strengthen the conference through expansion. I am under the impression that the Big 12 wants to only go back to 12 teams, so it's FSU and most likely Clemson if it's 12. We will see though.
MHver3? LOL, didn't that guy get busted for creating a 2nd account and "corroborating" his sources?
Cory Fravel @CoryFravel
My sources confirm an agreement in principle has been reached for Clemson to join the Big12.
Bushido, the dominos are falling sir.........the dominos are falling!!
We're going. It's obvious. Politicians will deny until the ink is dry and all legal requirements are met.
Playing OU and Texas every year would be foolish but Bama had to play LSU and Arky/Auburn the last three years and won 2 titles. You're either a big dog or a fake. We'll step up. Give us 28mil a year in tv money and we get an IPF, renovated dorms, etc etc etc
