One of our posters said that FSU hired Tide DB coach Jeremy Pruitt as DC. Any truth to that?
He is rumored to be at the top of the list. No hire yet...
"Some people think football is a matter of life and death, I assure you, it is much more serious than that."
I'm sure we'll find out everything tmrw
Wouldn't be surprised if he's already hired.
Just a rumor. It's all speculation. Our MOD says no one has been hired. He's an option, but not a run away candidate.
Thanks. I'd hate to lose him but wish him good luck if true
Neither would I. A gentlemen's agreement between him and Saban to keep things under wraps is a pretty solid theory.
Pardon my ignorance but whats tomorrow?
god I hope not
This is the one and only official version of Rebecca Black's "Friday" music video.
My favorite song of all time.
waves goodbye to LM3
Why would lm3 not like this? If he coaches db's it seems pretty good considering bamas recent secondary play
An unproven first time (college)coordinator, I cannot draw any positives from it at all. His DB responsibilities to Saban are what Coley is to Fisher.
mcquay would be the least of my concerns
Figured FSU would hire a 4-3 D guy. Of course, I also figured FSU would target someone that has been a D-Coordinator before.
so he's the db coach, under Kirby Smart who is the dc/db coach, under Nick Saban who is the hc/db guru
"Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."
People, he's been a DC before at Hoover HS. If you are going to say he hasn't been a DC, at least say "college DC".
we're where coaches go to learn on the job
How many 1st round draft choices has Bama had-will have this year in the NFL in the secondary??? Many more than FSU is the answer.
So that makes him qualified for a DC position at FSU? Like Gasou said above, he's third chair DB coach.
Noledigest said he is interviewing in a couple days for the job along with another DC that I really want!
Perfect hire. He'll recruit like a beast and be around for 5 years instead of 3 before he gets HC looks.
If we want a DC to leave in 2 or 3 years, hire a DC. This guy learned under Saban for the past 6 years. Sat in every meeting with Saban and Smart for game planning. Love it.
Scalp 'Em Seminoles!!!
Well who would that be ?
