FSU, Oklahoma State discussing 2014 game in Cowboys Stadium

Florida State and Oklahoma State are in talks to play in Cowboys Stadium early in 2014, according to a source with knowledge of the discussions.
Florida State, known for playing early-season duds, has expressed interest in playing a 2014 "kickoff" game, according to the Orlando Sentinel. Nothing is finalized on the deal, I'm told, and Oklahoma State will opt for the extra home game in case the neutral-site option falls through.
Scheduling neutral-site games is growing in popularity as teams look for a logical way to beef up resumes while satisfying fans or alumni nationally. Oklahoma State, for example, has a large Dallas-area alumni base. And if the looming college football playoff increases the need for tougher non-conference schedules, that could deepen the neutral-site intrigue.
The games make good money. The Alabama-Michigan showdown in September easily sold out. The Sugar Bowl in Atlanta is booked with neutral-site games until 2015.
Kansas State, which defeated Oklahoma State 44-30 on Saturday to remain undefeated and in the BCS hunt, is talking to teams about potential games in Arrowhead Stadium or Soldier Field.

Sounds good to me
I would love to go to that game. That definitely works for me.
"Florida State known to play early season duds....."
Good to see Fowler hasn't shed his gator bias.

Maybe this will be FSU's first game as a member of the Big 12 conference?
Wink, wink ;)

This kind of makes me question this guys knowledge but would love to see this happen.
"The Sugar Bowl in Atlanta is booked with neutral-site games until 2015."
Also what game is this?
He wrote for the gator beat for Orlando sentinel....until Myer threatened him. Think he left to cover the Vikings.
He used to work for the Orlando Sentinel and probably still has some solid sources in the state of Florida.
He probably stabbed Coley in the back to "break" the story.
It's the kickoff chickfila sugar bowl bcs bowl game that's in Atlanta whenever it's not in new Orleans.
That would be a fun game to watch. Good for our SOS. Their back up QB looked pretty good last night.
I can have hotel and eatery suggestions for anyone that makes that trip in!! Hope it gets done..
This guy obviously has an agenda. Anybody who follows CFB knows we've played our fair share of top opponents to start the season. He must have gotten us confused with his gates.
This guy is a moron. We played #1 OU LAST YEAR and had top 10 WVU on the schedule early this year until they canceled it.
Oh, and wtf is the "Sugar Bowl" in Atlanta? The GA Dome? Or the Superdome in New Orleans? Moron.
Now we're talking.
"I never knew I had a foot until I noticed it was on your neck"
Wha? We took one season off b/c of the WVU switch-up. OOC opponents in 2010 & 2011 were Oklahoma.
I would buy tickets as soon as this was official.
Would love that. Great matchup. Our current schedule does us no favors in the BcS
Also a recent home and home against BYU, neutral site against Alabama, some games against Colorado, home and home vs. USF.
And all that isn't even considering all of the times we pushed MIAMI AND CLEMSON up to opening weekend.
Would be a nice game. We are also trying to get ND for next year
Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or it may last a year. But eventually, it will subside. If i quit, however it will last forever.
Any word on what we're doing for 2013 to replace the 9th ACC game? Could really use a solid non-conference game.
