Would have thought he would have bigger programs after him. He pulled away from the pack with ease on that 80 yard TD run.
I'm with you.
I don't get it either. Here is his profile.

Rockets force a punt. Their series starts at the 35-yard line.
Central punts, barely getting it off, and Gainesville will start at the 25-yard line. 5:59 left in the second quarter.
Yearby has unbelievably quick feet and great vision
That is a horrible flag by the officials.
Followed up by a quick whistle by officials during a play that was still alive.
These are the best of the best but the last two days when the sun has been out the officials have been horrendous.
Net punt of 12 yards for Gainesville there.
Gainesville defense forces another punt. Nearly blocks it again. Nadelman bombed it though and Hurricanes face an 86 yard field.
Cato nails Miami Central defensive back Roderick Carter in the numbers. Turnover. Rockets in the redzone.
19-yard touchdown run for Yearby.
Central leads 27-7 with 1:31 left in the half.
Sick play there.
Gainesville has a wide open receiver streaking down the field but he is overthrown.
Central leads 27-7 at the half.
Joseph Yearby with a good half - 80+ yards rushing and two touchdowns. Roderick Carter with a solid half - 2 receptions for 62 yards and a big interception.
lolz at that pass, poor kid
J Yearby is special! I'm glad he is a Nole!!! Our backfield is going to be sick. Whoever the RB coach is going to be will be sitting on a gold mine. It will be like pick your poison.
Now here this....Now here this...the sound you hear is the sound of WAR from 83,000 Strong!
Watching this game, and not sh--ing on Cook because he is good with some serious speed, but in noway does he compare to Yearby as a RB. Yearby as elite quickness, feet, vision, and better concept of the game. Just needs to add more size IMO

For Central, Yearby has 14 carries for 88 yards and two touchdowns. Cook has nine carries for 12 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, Ahmad Thomas has seven tackles.
For Gainesville, Webb has nine rushes for 87 yards and a touchdown. Mark Cato is just 1-for-9 for 17 yards and an interception. Keith Kelsey has six tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss. Alex Gonzalez is leading the defense with seven tackles and two tackles for loss.
Cook also had a forced fumble on defense.
miami fans already think cook is better than yearby just like they thought Dorset was better than Greene a few years back. Once FSU will be getting the better player though
Gainesville fumbles the first snap of the second half. Central recovers.
Dorset definitely wasn't better than green in high school, and he still isn't even though he has more yards. I won't go into who's better between cook n yearby, they're both elite with different styles that compliment each other perfectly.
Cook with a 6-yard touchdown run. Nice move to get there.
Central now leads 28-7 with 10:08 left in the third.
Nice run by cook!
