This ^^^ is right on. We don't care about Coley other than the fact he gave us a chance with S. Fla recruits. For UM you can look at it as brilliant or desperate. No one really knows how good of an OC he is, so if he turns out to be something, this is a great hire by scUM, otherwise its desperate. It will land them Kirkland/Thomas this cycle for sure but we'll see if this is genius in the coming years.
Fisher needs to get Pep Hamilton to take over the offensive duties, play calling included.
He wasnt much more to Shaw than Coley was to Fisher
A dream would be hiring Louisville's coordinator with Winston or Coker
Yeah. All our top boosters are sick and tired of averaging over 10 wins a year and winning all our bowl games and beating our rivals and recruiting well and winning the conference!!! Enough with that garbage!!
0.0% chance of bringing in a play caller with this much turnover. IMO, Napier was brought in with the intention of him taking it over in a year or two
This is a bit of a kick in both nads.
Not only have we lost our best recruiter in S Fla who had developed a tight relationship with some of our most crucial pending prospects..
We probably also lost our chance to pry Jimbo's fingers from the play calling duties.
Napier will likely become OC in name only and someone will be brought in to fill the void.
Would Weinke even be a possibility to become QB Coach?
This makes the most sense.
