This is a weird metaphor, but stick with it.
This rematch game is like a pretty cool movie you saw. You went, watched it, thought it was pretty cool, and that was that. Then, because the movie made some money, they start cramming sequels down your throat and it ruins what was once a great movie.
That's what this feels like. I thought it was a good game the first time around, enjoyed it, all that good stuff. But having another "sequel" crammed down our throat is, IMO, going to do no more than dilute the first game, and leave more questions than answers. I guess Bama should thank ESPN for lobbying on their part to get this game.
So sick of the sec hype. I will not watch this game.
I would think you have an opinion without media help. Don't you think others do as well. No doubt in my mind the two best teams are playing. Compare players and coaches. Forget LSU, they are undefeated and no one has a problem with them, except for maybe the ones that are blinded by the SEC hate. Alabama has a great coaching staff, experienced and have won a NC. There entire defense and most of their offense will play on Sunday. I believe that just from watching and knowledge of several players since high school. Also, from several coaches I know. They don't say that about Ok. St. or Stanford. Sadly, if Alabama wins they will not get their due. I personally wish there had been a plus one and LSU could have played Ok St and Alabama could have played Stanford and the winners could have played the plus 1, at least this year it would probably have made everyone happy. As for the SEC, the majority of people on this site would prefer FSU to be in the SEC, and for good reason. FSU's interest in football is typical SEC. I, and many SEC fans wish they had joined 20 years ago. It would have been better for FSU and the SEC.
Even the SEC states wanted to see LSU vs Okie St. Mississippi turned red too. 51-49 OSU
GO NOLES! / SCALP EM!
Not sure when a loss became more important numerous quality wins, but hey, here we go. I'll pass on the rematch. I will be interested to see how the ratings are for this game compared to the first though. Seems like ESPN say when CBS had the first time and has been hell bent on pushing it a second time to get the same if not better ratings.
I dont mind the rematch.......Bama is going to win...They should have won the first time..They looked like the better team but missed to many easy FGs..
