Is Jimbo and his ego causing this? There are many instances where coaches stay when getting offers from other schools. Why are all of ours leaving? Why is no one showing any loyalty to Jimbo? I know Ballou likes to stir it a little bit but this whole post season has left me scratching my head. I would like to think they all left for better jobs...at least that's what I hope any way. What's everybody's thoughts?
Who knows. Coach Fisher seems like somewhat of a control freak, like not letting his assistsants speak to the press. He does seem to have a plan in place and we are improving however. Hopefully this is just a bump in the road and we will come out of it okay. Coley has been extremely loyal to Coach Fisher since he got here and there is probably a good explanation for this. The timing is just really bad right now.
He sure does dislike Jimbo with a passion. As for his opinion on Jimbo never met the man. I have, however, met Ballou. Giant douche bag
I know what you mean, man. We won the ACC for the first time in years, won 12 games, and won our BCS bowl for the first time in years. But the bitching is nonstop. All our coaches left for promotions and big pay increases. Leaves me scratching my head, too.
I know Ballou very well...about 20 years. He's a great guy. Very outspoken, controversial in nature. He is however, an excellent journalist. Has many good sources. I tend to believe him.
He gets listeners the TMZ way; by saying something controversial and often stupid.

In before someone links another DC to HC but they were all promotions chart.
Dunno ,say what you will losing 6 coaches in an off season is unheralded.
It's not black and white guys, just because we've been successful doesn't mean that there are things that cause serious friction amongst the staff.
The guy is a first time head coach at a big time program, while dealing with serious family issues.
It's not a stretch to think that situations could have been mishandled, causing stress in the coaching relationships at FSU.
A snide comment here, an ill-times ass chewing there...you never know.
appearing without warning or prior announcement; unexpected.?
To fancy I suppose, school work open underneath the browser.

rick is a good guy and good at his job. As to ego, who that is sucessful does not have one?
What rick probably meant (I did not hear him) was that Jimbo is unable to keep to at least blunt his nature as a control freak.
The coaches are grown adults-the press muzzle, for example, does seem shall we say, overkill. Just because Nick does it does not mean Jimbo should do it.
all sucessful coaches have egos-all of them.
Coley left for one of three reasons:
1. he suspected or knew he would never get to be a real oc here. Ergo, he is stagnating.
2. He got sick of waiting to be a real oc.
3. He thought that sanders, Napier or the coach tob e named later would get to be oc.
The one coach most of the press is getting wrong is Gran: if it was up to him (entirely) he would probably still be here.
The coaching ability of this staff is heads and shoulders above the old staff.
That is not even including the yet to be named coach.

For anyone who pays attention it's no mystery that Jimbo is tough to get along with. I hope that this is attributable to being 1st time head coach. Jimbo must evolve in order to be successful as a head coach. I hope he can learn.
