"Some people think football is a matter of life and death, I assure you, it is much more serious than that."
Noway bro. Not even in the same stratosphere.
Either way it has to be over by thursday if im not mistaken. Thats the last ADD/Drop day.
This is the type of recruiting entertainment I'm here for. I'll trust all of the Internet rumors I've read. This has been fun Demarcus Walker, thank you.
You are correct, but with football I'm sure they could work something out lol.
Walker is better than either Bellamy or Hollins
I continue to hear that the rumor of Walker to FSU has legs. Still trying to confirm.

Sandalwood's DeMarcus Walker decided to play for Florida State instead of Alabama.
By Justin Barney
Sandalwood defensive end DeMarcus Walker is staying in state — at Florida State.
The consensus four-star recruit pulled a stunning last-second switch, backing away from his commitment with BCS national champion Alabama to play for the Seminoles.
Saints coach Adam Geis confirmed late Monday night that Walker (6-4, 265), a Times-Union Super 11 and Super 24 selection, would enroll early Tuesday at Florida State. Walker is rated as the nation's 35th best prospect by ESPN, and a top 70 player nationally by every major recruiting publication.
Geis cited the proximity to home and Walker’s tight relationship with new Florida State defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt, the former defensive backs coach at Alabama.
He’s recruited Walker for nearly two years.
Now, Walker becomes the jewel of the Seminoles' incoming defensive crop.
“He really got kind of nervous about going that far away from home,” Geis said. “I think DeMarcus, in the end, felt more comfortable with Jeremy.”
It ended a whirlwind four-day span for Walker, who played in Friday’s Under Armour Game in St. Petersburg and admitted during the week that he’d take a late visit to Florida. He wound up backing off that comment at the last second and spent the last three days in an emotional tug-of-war on where to play.
He was scheduled to enroll Monday at Alabama, but he stayed home to ponder his choices.
Walker wound up going with the Seminoles and didn't even need to visit the campus over the past few days to finalize his decision.
Many thought Walker would flip to Florida, which a slew of players from the First Coast have chosen to attend.
But Walker’s bond with recruiter Pruitt and the chance to play two-and-a-half hours from home was a sales pitch that he couldn't pass up.
Walker is one of a handful of players from the First Coast to graduate and enroll in college early.
First Coast linebacker Daniel McMillian (Florida), Sandalwood quarterback Parker Boehme (Duke), Yulee running back Derrick Henry (Alabama), and Camden County, Ga. quarterback and running back Brice Ramsey and J.J. Green, respectively, to Georgia

Sounds like Pruitt is already earning his paycheck.
He also has to know that he could play for another NC next year also....except that would be at Bama.
We are to the point that if kids are scared to compete with other 4's and 5's for their position, we just go find another one. That is what Saban tells the recruits...if you don't want to come to Bama, there are other 4* and 5*s that do...no big deal!
Thanks for the kind words, Bama. Congrats on the win tonight!
Enjoy the success. I envy Saban for that philosophy and I am glad to see Fisher adopt it after Fowler's BS last year. Congrats on the win.
This. I remember thinking this would not turn out well for us. The competition to "break first" does damage to situations sometimes.
congrats on walker im wasted so i mean it now atleast lol
demarcus robinson was a little more important for us imo with sherit, ivie in this class and 5 DE's last but noles is better then bama imo
would of loved to have him but couldt help but laugh at where he ended up we both got great demarus's
