It will be seen early. First of all, CT is now gone and we have our starter from last year in there with a Soph Brahma Bull who will be a grown man next year like we havent seen in a long time. RB will be elite, experienced, and deep. QB we obviously have great options. Likely to see some growing pains early on, namely if the QB isnt named Clint, but we'll be fine as we run 34-40 times a game for 7.5-8.5 ypc.
Pryor we will have to scheme out for the most part. We will simply run different plays mostly. Wilder and Freeman can do much of what he did but he is/was excellent. We will just simply not rely on that as much. Haplea and O'Leary will be all over the formation next year and Christo will have a say as well.

You guys are starting the pre-season NC hype a little early this year aren't you? I guess after your NC hopes for this year were crushed by a powerhouse like NCST all you really have are your PNC.
I've got a question not a flame attempt at all. Saw a couple of people mentioning the OL as a unit that wil be improved. What is the concensus from the Nole fans in regards to Trickett's ability to coach and develop. There have been several times over the last few years where you guys were going to have a dominant OL based on returning talent and that hasn't necessarily materialized. I know injuries have played a part at times in the past, but is there a point where that part of the team that should be dominant and play a huge role in keeping FSU as an elite team and doesn't mean that Trickett is out? I believe he and Jimbo are fairly close does that play a roll? Thanks for any input.
Beatings will continue until morale improves
I think the OP mentioned that his thoughts were probably a little premature and would likely get some backlash for it.
Not much different from us saying that we think we'll be alot like present day Bama once Champ has a year or two more to get an entire roster of his guys.

Dammit man! I am not in this for the logical discussions. I am here to stir the pot. No logic or common sense needed for that. I keep that stuff on our board.
Well sh!t then....by all means
because there is not much of a dropoff with Freeeman. IMO he has better vision than Thompson-he does not have as good top end speed.
Also, Pender will a be better hr hitter than Thompson. Yeah, yeah a RS Freshman. How may Rs Freshman make a huge impact at rb? a lot do.
We are on the road with our biggest conference rival and biggest non-conference rival, if Jimbo hasnt learned how to get a team focused for a road game we'll get hammer both times...
McCarron is definitely going to play in the NFL. He has always done what Saban asked, although a 4 star, came in very underrated on the outside, but not on the inside. I remember Luginbill saying Sims would take over after game two last year. People around their program knew he was very accurrate, confident, would pick up the play book. His accuracy is what impresses scouts.
I get what you're saying about scheming Lonnie out (probably what we'll do). That said, it seems as if he transforms 2-3 runs a game from ~3 yard gains into 15-20 yard gains (or more). Using that logic, he's worth about 50-60 yards a game rushing. I suspect we're going to have a hard time replacing that production with a modified scheme. Plus, he's just an awesome dude.
What Quintin just said.
Schedule next year is way harder. This was our year. We have a slim chance of beating UF next year. We have a better chance at Clemson but that's probably a loss too.
you are such a tool of a poster it's not even funny.
Christian is a good player and proved it last year, so yeah I can say jimbo isn't using him much like some of the other players. Their is a reason you don't visit tbb anymore because you cry when someone calls you out or has a different opinion. Yeah and so cool of you to put percentages on which kids might transfer. Coming from a guy whose prolly never played competitive sports in his life
i'm never going to believe C. Green isnt good enough or not as good as our top rotation guys he did prove last season he is good and have as much talent as any wr in the ACC. Also he has been in the games but isn't getting much or any calls his way, its already on film C. Green can do more with a bubble screen than any of our top WRs, with the lost of CT's speed Jimbo will look to CG his next most explosive offensive player for big plays, he better.
I'm pleasantly surprised with Wilder Jr, are you guys not? He has shown pretty good speed getting to the edge and once he gets some bulk in the strength program he may be something to be reckoned with in both the power and speed run game...
And by pleasant I mean in all games not including the Gators later... I hope we knock his block off if he continues to run as upright as he does.... but besides that he looks pretty damn good despite everyones thoughts during his recruitment... wish he was learning to be an OLB for the Gates...he would end up being a beast as an OLB/Buck/Jack/whatever you wanna call it
Anyone feel like answering my OL coaching question?

First we said Bradham was going to jump early into the NFL. Then we said Rhodes was a lock for an early exit. Then we said Jenkins was going to leave the first chance he got. Now I'm not saying Werner is going to stay, but out of all those kids I previously listed, I believe Werner has the personality of a kid who is just going to stay because he loves playing for FSU.
I like that when he is interviewed he switches from a US to German accent at will without realizing it.... good stuff
Can Jenkins even come back? I thought he was out of eligibility?
Rhodes is not in the ESPN top 32 for the NFL draft, so unless he projects as a high 2nd, I would think he will at least seriously consider a SR yr.
Werner, i cannot think of a reason for him to come back, maybe I am missing something.
Amazingly I think Joyner stays, and I have no idea why anyone thinks Christian Jones is going to leave, a LB with below average pass coverage skills is not in high demand, if anyone needs another yr its him.
D-line needs a solid 2 deep, even if Werner and Jenkins leave, we should have that with the addition of a JUCO, the difference will be we won't have a Carradine type guy sitting there to fill in should a major injury happen.
Will Hill went early and didnt even get drafted... some people do some crazy stuff sometimes...
Of course he went hard like a russian...errrr I mean someone hacked his Twitter and photoshopped him alot.... enjoy attached link...
Urban Meyer wasnt paying full attention in his final year at Florida. The 8-5 record of Florida and complete trust of the program to Steve Addazio should have been enough of an indication of this,...
Stork will be back next year.
I don't think Rhodes leaves. And if he didn't it wouldn't kill is. People were projecting him to leave after last year and that was definitely not happening. He's good, not great and really needs to work on being a consistent every down performer (but who doesn't at the college level?). I'm skeptical of his top end speed too. With his size he could end up at safety like Antrel Rolle.
Joyner on the other hand will end up at CB in the pros and be damn good, IMO. His wingspan, speed and tenacity will have scouts drooling. I think he returns though.
CJ is going nowhere. It's a passing league and his coverage needs work.
I'm not expecting Bjoern back. I think Jenkins returns but I'm worried about his recovery.

Can Jenkins come back? I thought he was done?
He never redshirted. Even if he had, he would still be eligible to apply for a medical redshirt as he was injured in the first game.
Tone down the name calling man. This isnt real life with you standing in front of me so dont act like a grown man.
Only guy I've been waiting to comment on it has said as of now BJenks WILL be back. Yeah, he would have been a true Sr this year.
