The loss of Ware is not a big one IMO. I would take street who we lead for, thornton, and chad thomas from BTW. Then try to get in the mix with carter/hand and see if we can pull one or both. I would take all 5 of them over ware.
Hand will obviously be the toughest pull but kelly should be able to make an impact at norcross for carter. I think street and thornton are Noles and its just a matter of time. As for Thomas he is another BTW kid so you never know how his recruitment will go.
I think that overall Pruitt & Sunseri > Stoops & Eliot at D recruiting. The exception may be DE, however. But it's too early yet, we'll see....
Not sure why you would say that? Before Eliot came here he coached DEs at Rice. Before Sunseri came here he coached DEs for the Carolina Panthers while Julius Peppers was there. Not to mention him coaching LBs at Alabama.
A lot easier for Sunseri to sell his resume right now than it was for Eliot when he first got here. If he puts in the work i have no reason to believe DE recruiting will drop off. Pruitt has been named ACC recruiter of the Year by every site out there. Demarcus Walker says hello by the way.
Signing day is a year away, chill.
Saved us from 4 years of D Bellamy whining and twitter issues...
? not sure if you are talking to me here. If you are why do i need to chill? This isnt a freak out post.
If we hit on 2 of Thornton, Street, or Carter and add at least one more solid DE, we'll be in great shape.

Sure seems like we same up short every year at DE with them. Some bad luck involved, but we're in a tough position now as a result.
If anyone can break down why we need a 3rd DE I'd be welcome to hear. We need two. Just make them good.
We lead for Street? I must have missed that.
Christo omnino nihil praeponere
who would you turn down out of that group? If Thornton Street Hand and Carter all want to be Noles i dont see the staff turning them down. The one guy i could see being left out is Thomas.
and 734 here you go
Kentavious Street is someone that just got rated 5 stars by Rivals and Ive read two people off of sites say that Napier and Sunseri are say

We don't need 3 DE's, but if they are good, we will take them. It is not like we won't have the room.
If the top 100 committed tomorrow would you turn them down? Outrageous hypotheticals don't make the point. We don't have room, crozea is wrong IMO.
We take 4 DEs in some video game power play and another position will get neglected and folks will crap bricks.
We do have room we will take a class of close to 30. How is it an outrageous hypothetical that those 3 that i listed want to commit and then the staff turns one of carter/ hand? Thats not outrageous. Its entirely plausible. Like i said the only one i could see getting turned down would be chad thomas.
Then log off for a year. This is a forum about RECRUITING. Nothing was wrong in this entire thread then you come in saying "chill".... Nobody is freaking out...
You listed four top 50 recruits. Just saying, acting like "we're signing 28" or in your mind 30 means we stock each position means, IMO , you haven't laid it all out. Jmo. Not meaning to be argumentative, just bantering.
4 top 50 recruits we have a legit shot with. I think hand is going to bama and carter to uga. Do u think we would turn down chad thomas if we already had 2 commited.
Guy I trust says Thomas is not good so I would.
I think the goal is to take 2 and leave room for a third guy like Hand or Carter. This could change if Newberry moves to OT though, which might make sense if the staff feels that Hicks could step in and play behind Casher or Edwards.
I'd take 3. I honestly think we should go to a 3-4. It's just a pain in the arse for defenses. Any kind of miscommunication, youth and inexperience, or just plain bad execution can will just kill your offense vs a 3-4. It's not like the pros either where those things aren't as prevalent. But that's just how I would do it.
Fair enough. Keyon brown has me wondering tho. Hes a highly rated prospect by a lot of sites yet he doesnt have an FSU or uf offer
Keyon Brown is undersized(listed at 6'2, which probably means 6'1) but he has a big game. I've only watched a few DE vids so far, but he looks like a take IMO. He dominated the UA camp and his game film is excellent.
