North Pole, Alaska. When I went to FSU back in the mid '80's I had never used air conditioning, didn't know who Bobby Bowden was, had never attended a football game with more than a few hundred spectators, had never lived in a place where it could be dark and warm or light and cold at the same time, and had never worn shorts to class. Best decision I ever made was leaving hell...I mean North Pole and going to Tallahassee.
Graduated Minco high school in minco Oklahoma nobody famous just a podunk town in the middle of no where the most famous person I played against was Wes Welker in high school when he was at heritage hall in okc
Raleigh Egypt High (memphis, tn) c/o 96...all state , all region, all dixie south, etc as Db..sr year played melrose high school which featured 4 nfl players (cedrick wilson, kindal moorehead, andre lott, julius hull) .. committed to mississippi state and later played at nw mississppi (juco)
I'll second that!!! I went to Western and back then we had Dillard and Plantation in our conference. I'm 6'4'' and can dunk with ease and I remember leaping to catch a pass in the corner of the end zone and here comes Gamble who just snatches it right out of the air. Dude had to have been like a foot higher in the air then I was! Greatest player I've ever seen in HS
Saint Petersburg Catholic, c/o 97'. Home of Chris Davis, Ryan Green and Marty Lyons (non Nole related). Played hoops and had a few small D1 offers. Never took the ride after graduation and worked in the area for a few years post HS. Got my life back together and graduated from FSU in 2006.
Edgewater High, class of 2001. Home to Nigel Dixon, and Kenny Ingram.
Cordova High, Memphis, TN
Dimond High, Anchorage, AK
Leon High, Tallahassee, FL
I was born here, moved around a little, obviously.
Very Rich Baseball Talent my old HS has been in the State baseball playoffs every year since 1991. Football was competitive but there were 2 very large public schools in the area that had top notch football programs that produced a friend of mine Michael Myers who played at Bama and the NFL, Brian Darden who played at Tennessee, and a host of others. MS always has good football, baseball and basketball programs that seem to get looked over by schools outside the state.
Gaither, HS in Tampa, FL
GO NOLES! / SCALP EM!
Essex District High School, Essex Ontario Canada.
As you all know, we play a different game up here, but one young man broke the barrier into the big time, and that was OJ Atogwe, of Herman High School, here in Windsor, Ont.
Great ball player, even better person.
Keenan High School in Columbia, SC
Stanton College Prep in Jax for me too. Lived in Neptune Beach though near Fletcher High School.
Claim to fame: Sat next to Mr. Nee for a semester in Miss Berry's debate class in 2001. I'm sure that's where Chris learned most of his skills from..

Escambia High, class of 1967
First post here!
Western High (Davie,FL) class of 2011. Played baseball all four years, could have played D2 in Anderson, SC but decided to give up baseball and go to FSU instead (hardest decision of my life). Maybe not the best, but the most well known player I ever faced was James White when he played baseball for Saint Thomas. K'd him on an inside fastball and had to cover my face with my glove to hide the smile lol
Crestview High, home of 2014 commit Denzel Ware.
Graduated in '02 and coached football for 3 years up until 2010. I went to western with one of the coaches, Keith Williams. Small world, and welcome!
Very small world! Coach Williams was a great coach and thank you!
LOL Thats one of my best friends.
Marathon High School. Home of former NFL and Seminole DE Tony Bryant
Not guilty y'all got to feel me
Walton Sr. High, DeFuniak Springs FL. Class of 1977
I was a safety in powder puff. Class of '98.
Tallahassee Lincoln c/o 94. Played briefly with Kevin Carter, also Zach Piller dude was a beast in high school. Most famous guy I played against was probably Tamarick Vanover. He made our whole team look silly, like we were playing against a pro player. He was big and very fast.
Then onto FSU for a few degrees
