Boca Ciega in south Pinellas county. C/O 2000
Home of LB Hank Grant, one of the best FSU signee's to never make it to campus. I believe he was class of '95.
For the latest recruiting scoop follow me on twitter: https://twitter.com/joshnewberg247
Yeah, that was me who made one of the Blades brothers somehow fall down. Frank Gore? Are you kidding me!? Get out of the way. Freaking battering ram.
The Future is Now.
You never looked "back" or never looked "baked"? My PO tells me there's a big difference.
Josh, what happened to Grant?
Catholic High- Pensacola, FL
Orange Park HS, Orange Park FL
Grades, never made it to college.
Best player I've played against was Eric Berry. He went to Creekside, who are the Seminoles btw, and as I'm sure you know he can lay a hit. He also wasn't too bad of a quarterback
Lincoln High (Tallahassee), Class of 2001
Graduated from Flanagan high school in Pembroke Pines, FL c/o 2003. Same high school as Mike Napoli.
Went to FAMU on a football scholarship and graduated with a degree in business. Now I'm back in South Florida working in Miramar.
Nice... lol. Damn Swype w/ predictor text has a mind of its own. I fixed it
Ridgeview HS in Orange Park, FL
Best player I played against in high school was Chris Gamble. The guy did things that high school athletes aren't supposed to be able to do.
Bloomingdale HS near Tampa. Not much football talent in their history. Tony Thomas graduated a year behind me and was the only reason Bdale beat Lakeland the year after I graduated.
Tampa boy by birth and moved back home after my 4 years at FSU, but spent my middle and highschool years in north Escambia county.
Graduated from Tate High school (Gonzalez, FL) in '98. Home of some serious baseball talent, but not much in football...save for long snapper Clay Ingram, who i'm proud to still call a friend.
Clay and I were at FSU at roughly the same time...always enjoyed hearing 'Ingram, Outzen and Janikowski enter the Seminole lineup...' as they used to announce in Doak after a Seminole touchdown back in the day.
Clovis West High School- Fresno, CA 2004
Riverview High School in Sarasota
Woodbury HS, Minnesota. Nobody famous came out of my high school but we were in the same conference as Cretin Derham Hall, home of Seminole great Chris Weinke and almost Seminole Joe Mauer, as well as Steve Walsh, Michael Floyd, Seantrell Henderson, etc.
Cairo High Syrupmaker '72 and armynole03, I spent the rest of the '70s at Valdosta State...a great experience with 7 girls for every guy and I am positive that the classic movie "Animal House" was based on my college years and my frat
Ed White high school Jacksonville, Florida c/o 2005. I played against and with many great players, but the best player I had the privalage of watching my sophmore year was Andre Caldwell. Him and Dee Webb were just amazing that game, and both were going back and forth against each other. We also had a great defense that year, but Caldwell was just to good and he smoked our defense.
Grad of Monticello High School, Monticello, MN...most famous alum is probably Joel Przybilla (NBA), from there went on to play college football at North Dakota State, FCS National Champs the last two seasons.
Played basketball against John Carlson (MN Vikings TE) and played baseball against Joe Mauer a few times in my high school days. Mauer was just as smooth then as he is now...
Bounced between Fernandina Beach and Montverde Academy. In school behind Rick Stockstill of FSU,his brother Jeff,WR for the 81 champs,Clemson and ahead of All American and first round pick,Terrance Flagler.Terrance was dunking basketballs as a seventh grader.
