For Dameyune Craig, the chance to return to his alma mater and make some history in the process was too much to turn down.
Dameyune Craig welcomes opportunity to return to Auburn as co-offensive coordinator, wide receivers coach.

It was about $
WTF! This constant turnover will ruin the sport.
Screw AU... They will SUCK next year anyways.

Could of went without reading that!
No offense to DC because I like the guy, but Auburn didn't speak for itself earlier this winter. The AU $$ is what's really doing the talking!!
he was never not going
just wanted to wait until after EJ's last game
He's a traitor. Really getting sick of Auburn. How the hell does that school have so much cash to throw around?
That money speaks for itself.
Can't blame him at all. More Money, and More Responsibility.
And more problems, uhh, uhhh.
I'm so thuggishly hip, I make DannyBoyCane jealous.
I can't blame him for leaving. He gets to go back to his alma mater for more money and a better position. Malzahn better know what he is doing and show results quickly with all the money he is spending on his coaching staff or he will very likely be unemployed in a few years.
Y'all are harsh. He's been here 3 yrs. Thats a good run. Good luck to him.
How much is he getting paid?
According to some Auburn fans 350K. If that is the case, then they made a fantastic hire IMO.
350k according to owner of the AU 247 site.
He is a recruiter (not a coach) that left to make more money to recruit for someone else.
That is like complaining that someone is disloyal because he went from selling BMW's to Lexus'.
Recruiters are salesmen. Nothing more. he was coach in name only.
Maybe Craig has bene told he will get the opportunity actually coach at auburn. I doubt it actually comes to pass because he was hired just to recruit but maybe they told him that anyway
I agree this more about recruiting than coaching. Auburn got tired of FSU punching them in the face on the recruiting trail with him. This move is all about recruiting plain and simple, no more no less. We still have Pruitt which may pay way more dividends than before. If you don't get those W's it won't matter who you get to recruit and if Bama continue to kick that tail it won't matter either. I live here in Alabama and right now it all goes through Tuscaloosa not Auburn.
Now here this....Now here this...the sound you hear is the sound of WAR from 83,000 Strong!
