I don't know... Just stating that maybe a cause of it... gave it a shot but in the end just didn't feel the same..
I wont miss his dad.
Benjamin could play TE. He has the size for sure and can catch. Idk if he can block but he has laid people out as a WR blocking.
GO NOLES! / SCALP EM!
I guess it has more to do with his shoulder and being homesick. Dad said he wouldn't be ready until mid season and doesn't want to risk injury. He could RS, but doesn't want to sit around in tally when he misses home.
KB is a wr, he will never play TE, use NO and Kerr and the walkon in GL situations
Makes sense... I just mentioned Coley cause of his relationship with him and being his position coach/primary recruiter
for 2014, is Haplea eligible for a RS? I'm sure this was touched on when he was injured but I cannot remember. with Haplea, NOL Kerr and 2 recruits we should be fine in 2014.
hes leaving because he just had shoulder surgery and will likely miss a big chunk of the season. add in the fact that hes somewhat homesick and he wants to transfer. if he plays part of the season and then transfers he loses another year of eligibility now he can rehab himself while he sits out and still have 2 years to play
big loss but i understand
FSU Ambassador to the masses
Put Lovelady or Carter at TE and pound the hell out of the ball.
"Some people think football is a matter of life and death, I assure you, it is much more serious than that."
Its a TE y'all, this doesn't hurt us. Anytime a disillusioned kid leaves the team improves
You can be proactive about minimizing future issues, but I don't consider it a big loss when the guy leaving played sparingly. It can become one, but right now, it's not one.
The guy wasn't going to be playing. I'm sure the coaches recognized this.
Big loss? Really?
Agree to disagree cause IMO depth is key to any teams success
I'm not worried. I mean I hate to see him go, but we will be fine.
Kids soft too.
I bet he transfers to Miami.
I'm not disagreeing with that statement. But with regards to an injured backup, "Big" and "Loss" don't belong together. He wasn't providing depth with an injury.

It is a loss, whenever you lose a player it is a loss. We can try and mask it all day but in the end it is a loss
Any chance he is following Coley to Miami or does not like his new position coach? His dad was a huge Coley fan and was annoyed that Jimbo let coley get away.
I have seen where he will transfer closer to home and I am sure Jimbo wouldnt allow him to transfer to Miami
Why? Coly is the OC there.
Closer to home and would bet Jimbo would block that transfer
You are only looking at it from the team's and perhaps your own fan's perspective. I assure you there is much more to the story that just a snap decision to transfer, which this was not.
