If he's no longer being considered for the UK job, where does he go? Does he stay? I hope so. What are the chances of him staying and being given FULL control of the offense?
"I never knew I had a foot until I noticed it was on your neck"
Right now it looks like he's staying. There are going to be about a dozen jobs opening up between now and January, he could get an OC offer on a new staff. But until then, it's impossible to say where he may land.
Chances of him being handed full control of the offense are right at zero. I've been saying this for weeks and haven't heard anything that would make me think otherwise.

What's with all the blatant honesty? Gives us something to hope for Josue.

Jimbo still controlling thebfull offense would have me taper my expectations for next year because our offense is terrible on the road or against good defenses.
You can blame it on ej being a terrible qb but next year he won't have that excuse
It doesn't matter how honest I am. I'll get the question again in 2 hours.
SO are you saying Coley is staying or going?
So were Jimbo's comments about getting a full time, play calling OC complete BS?

Is there a chance someone else is given play calling duties? Rumors of Fisher having people in his ear about playcalling and his comments about playcalling lead to a slight idea that's at least being considered, no?
What are the chances Coley gets play calling responsibilities?
I've not heard anything that would make me think he's giving up play calling.
Then we can expect the same offense we saw against NCST, VT, GT and UF, and offense that makes no adjustments and gets beat in the 4th quarter..
It's being considered at some point in the future, but it will be on his schedule is pretty much what I've taken from the quotes.
That's only four games out of what, 13. That's about a third of a season. You are going to have to do better than that to convince me FSU needs an OC.
Better hope we keep having a cupcake schedule buddy, or else you are looking at 4-5 loss seasons.

We'll agree to let Jimbo make his own calls next year, as long as we all agree he gets ZERO consideration for bringing in an offensive coordinator if next year goes south.
In otherwords, If Jimbo remains OC next year, we judge the following year as if he will remain OC, regardless who he wants to hire for OC... then decide whether to keep him or not.
If he has a great year, then we give him the keys to the castle... as he earned them.
Terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible judgement call to allow someone this much rope. We did not learn a damn thing from 2002-2006 if we stand idle and let it happen.

That's unfortunate for us, josh.
When did he say he'd do this? In what time table? Link?
I never heard this rumor. Link?
Part of hos 5-10 year plan. He siad that within the first 5 years he'd hire a full time OC and give him the play calling duties. But I think a lot of that statement had to do with the anger the FSU fans had for his piss poor play calling and our bogged down offense against any D with a pulse..
I don't believe he ever specifically said he was going to, he just mentioned in passing about him having a 5 year plan and a 10 year plan and sort of insinuated that having a fulltime OC was part of that.
There was an interview or two where he mentioned giving up play call duties at some point in the future. Some people probably thought /hoped this meant it would happen next year.
What about player execution on the offense..whose fault is that we could not put 4 quarters of football together against a decent team..it always has to come back to coaching?
It will be troubling if he never addresses the outcry over this glaring issue with the fan base.
Yeah, so people took one thing and made it something else entirely.
No it doesn't. Sometimes players don't play well. Sometimes coaches get out-coached. It happens. Because a player misses a block, a receiver drops a ball, a running back fumbles, or a QB makes a bad pass, it doesn't mean they weren't coached properly.
