Perhaps this has been discussed elsewhere, but I have not seen it if that is the case (and I've been looking). I've noted not only 2 early summer practice sessions at least open partially to the media, but also (and almost shockingly), several assistants have been provided to the media to discuss the team and be interviewed.
This appears to be a marked change from Jimbo's approach previously. Has this new change been discussed or explained by any of the coaches? Can we get Josh or Chris's opinion on the rationale for the change?

I think each assistant get one interview.
The interviews with assistants have been introductory press conferences. I don't think they will be made available again (outside of maybe media day preseason).
Today's practice being completely open was a rare instance. But pleasant and appreciated.
I don't think things have really changed much, but Tim, Sean, or Bob would be able to shed more light on that as they are around it daily. I just drop in here and there to assist.

I don't think that much has changed, really. We wouldn't be talking to the assistants if they weren't new -- we haven't talked to Dawsey, Trickett or Haggins.
Although, if I'm being honest, I wouldn't be surprised if we heard from the assistants a little more some day. This staff is a different make up than the others. Tim Brewster has been a head coach, Sal Sunseri has years and years of experience, etc. Some of the new coaches are a little more established than some of the other guys were when they arrived at FSU. Just a hunch.
