You going to do your OL/DL break downs like last year? Always liked reading them.
Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or it may last a year. But eventually, it will subside. If i quit, however it will last forever.
Thanks bud. I started watching the replay on ESPN 3 this morning, but "rewind" wasn't working so well. I'm going to try and tape the game tonight and watch again tomorrow afternoon.
I'd like to share it here, but I bet there are 4-5 people (at least) that would prefer that I kept my thoughts to myself. Are you still over on the TCCL?
Would love to hear your opinion over here
Unfortunately no. If you remember when you post it there just PM me it...it'd be much appreciated.
Canolee...don't let a few resident idiots discourage you from posting your thoughts here. I am looking forward to it!
Agreed I've been lookin for it all day
FSU -->----->> The Unconquered Uprising
Canolee, I hope you change your mind and post your thoughts! I honestly would have kept my WC sub just to read "In the Trenches" if I had known you weren't going to post it here.
Canolee, we would love to hear from you. I will keep an eye on your trenches thread to be sure it stays constructive.
please do post, opinions are what message boards are for
PM it to me as well, if you're not going to post it - if you don't mind.
As for people who don't want to hear your opinion - use 24/7's killer feature: ignore.
I've been looking for it all day, hope you decide to post it. I look forward to it.
Post it on 247. There are too many people on here that look forward to your breakdown. Don't let the few ruin it for the many.
Like others, I have been coming on here today looking for your breakdown. I hope you will post it, but add me to the PM list if you do it that way.
Throw my name into the "please post your thoughts" ring. Love reading your analysis.
PM me too please. Or better yet, just post it.
Much love for "In the Trenches". Like others above, I have been looking forward to your breakdown since the final gun sounded.
If you dont want to share it with us because of a few haters, that's your perogative; that said, it will not stop the haters - cynical haters will hate.
FSU Football. Making cool the new swag since 2013.
I look forward to In the Trenches every Sunday, love the analysis.
Ah man that sucks, been checking off and on all day to catch your notes. Hope you reconsider
I would also love it in a PM if need be. Im trying to get better at analyzing line play when I watch a game and would love hearing your insight.
Thanks kids. I'll get it up tomorrow afternoon.
I have no problem with people that disagree, as long as they post examples and reasons why.
I hope to see the In the Trenches feature again this year as well. Definitely one of my favorite features last football season.
I had a long convo with a buddy last night about the trenches on both sides of the ball. Yes, there is always room for improvement, even if you have 4 sacks and a million TFL's lol BUT if you watch ANY position on the football field and zone in and only pay attention to that, then you are going to find flaws. This goes for any team in the country, with the exception of BAMA's OL bc thats just not right what they did to Michigan last night lol. With that said, Our O line did what they were supposed to last night and yes there is def. room for improvement, but that's gonna happen when you have 2 guys brand new to positions. I'm not Canolee and def enjoy reading his "In the Trenches", but It doesn't take an analyst to prove that our OL has improved a great deal. People who dont know the game will try and argue, but someone answer me this: How many flags were thrown on our OL STARTERS last night? Doesn't matter who we played against...Also, how many rushing yards and more specifically, rushing TD's did we have? When's the last time that happened at FSU? There will be be who try and find all the flaws and use the "FCS team" excuse and that's ok. But the execution was there last night more than not and we don't need a GREAT offense with the defense we have. If our Offense can match what we had a couple of years ago, we will be just fine. The only thing is, we have more play makers on O this year than a couple of years ago.
Lastly, this has nothing to do with the OL, but a thing that I saw that is VERY important and makes me more excited is....The continuity of this team is Great! That will pay off more than people think..
Sure we need the ball to bounce our way a few times with things we can't control, but this year has a chance to be special. Best chance since 2000.
