That would be an even more horrible average trip distance than ours. A trip to Ames, Iowa would be brutal.

I personally don't care if Miami goes with us or not. They are likely going to face sanctions that make them irrelevant in football for a long time. FSU does not need to tie themselves down to that school. If they are happy staying in the crappy ACC then leave them behind.
ya ya FSU is unlikely to move as well.... a lot can change very quickly.
Public statements just don't hold any value to me right now. These guys are politicians.
If Miami was offered to go to the b12 and they don't take it, all 36 of their fans should be irate
Good their program will teeter on extinction if they stay in the ACC without us.
Sounds like posturing on Miami's part for when the Big XII does not extend an invite.
The university has made a point to de-emphasize football under Shalala and even moreso after Shapiro. Miami is a better fit with the ACC.
And we don't need them complicating matters for us. We need to be looking out for FSU and FSU only.
load of bunk. They need the money much more than we do
Yeah, Boston and Syracuse are so much closer!!! LOL

We'll see if Miami changes their mind if/when we decide to leave and they realize that their revenue will suck compared to ours (and UF) and that they may lose their only rivalry game in football.
I have very mixed feelings on this. If Miami dies, FSU will be the school to reap the most rewards in recruiting. However, a solid Miami that comes with FSU to the Big XII, means more $$$. Consider me indifferent.
I say just drop the rivalry. They fiscally can't compete anymore, their fans are the scum of the earth, and frankly they bring nothing to the table anymore. Go to a 9 game Big 12 schedule, keep UF, drop Miami, and be done with it.
Most have said Miami is not a consideration fro the Big 12. The only way that would change is if Florida State insisted on them going also.
Despite their previous domination at times of college football. It is hard to see Miami ever getting back to elite status. Poor fan support, small school, lack of money and a poor conf affiliation
