Warrick and Marvin Jones are my two favorite Seminoles of all time.
I'd like to see the results of the following survey, if hypothetically, FSU fans were able to take only their time at FSU into the equation (with no knowledge of the NFL):
Which offensive player will have the most succesful NFL career?
A) Peter Warrick
B) Laverneus Cole
C) Leon Washington
D) Anquan Boldin
E) Warrick Dunn
F) Charlies Ward
I would say Charlie Ward
I would have said Peter Warrick because everytime he touched the ball it was highlight worthy
I would say Warrick, too, but PW is my favorite Nole of all-time. The guy was SO electric.
It's a shame that
a) his knees gave out, which is terrible for a guy who was spectacular because he made great cuts...never really had elite speed at all.
b) the slot receiver position wasn't as big as it is today in the early 2000s (he was drafted in '00)
c) the Bengals didn't really know how to use him correctly
I think he would've been dynamite as a slot receiver in today's game. So quick. As long as he got his route running good, I think Warrick could've been a stud (barring injury, which happened).
He's the best I've seen at FSU. If it wasn't for the damn Dillards crap he wins the Heisman in a landslide.
