I'm assuming we won. Seeing as I live in Central Louisiana and work with a self-described "biggest LSU fan ever"(or to be more truthful about 200 or so of them), this video would be awesome to play for them.
I thought you were in jacksonville
I had to move in Jan. for my job. Luckily I like the job, as it's basically babysitting, and LA is starting to grow on me now.
We won 42-3
I did. We were forced to play LSU FIVE years in a row ON THEIR HOME FIELD. Beat them 4 out of 5. This was part of the dynamics that earned BB his moniker: "The Road Warrior" - Anybody, Any Time, Any Where. This set, Meeecheeeegan, Nebraska, Oklahoma and others: were due to the fact that Bowden knew he had to travel to play these teams, as few would deign to lend the light of their countenance to the Doak. Even when we lost, we played well for the most part, and gained respect and national recognition that heretofore was weak for us.
I know Bobby was a hobbeldy old horse the last several years of his tenure, with misdirected and misplaced - in my mind - loyalty toward his son and clubhouse lawyer clowns like Chuck the Chest, but from the late 70's through 2000, he was a pretty darn good Tackle Football Coach and Program Manager boyo.

Yes...and no. I was a student there at the time and attended the game with one of my friends. The game was such a blowout that we decided to leave before the end of the 4th quarter. We could actually "hear" the brawl from outside. Remember in those days of the giant erector set stadium that you could hear just about everything going on inside from a good distance away. Always regretted not seeing it though.
It's hilarious, at about the 1:06 mark #23 (Abbott?) is in the middle of the scrum, and no one wants a piece of him.
I just tossed that VHS and other late 80s and 1990s FSU taped games- no time to watch them. Thank goodness for YouTube.
Does anyone remember the FSU v. FAMU basketball fight? Doug Edwards trying to stab FAMUs with a pencil....
was at the game
harvey williams got his ass handed to him
The original Mekka Neck.
I was born in 1990.
Just looked this up, it happened less than a week before I was born.

yeah that dude was part giraffe
I was there a year after I graduated. FSU kicked their ass. Terrible QB and mediocre defense.
Me too. Before my time.
#76 for LSU was the instigator there. Today, he would be on ESPN 24/7 while they did Behind The Lines Special Reports on how someone kicked his dog in 3rd grade---so that explains why he and LSU got their arses kicked that day.
I believe Nash was 65 years old when this happened.

Show more respect to yer elders, or suffer the consequences.
The game was a blowout and we left at the start of the 4th quarter. I was sitting in Bennigans watching the end thinking "I wouldve stayed if I knew something exciting was going to happen" We just blew people out back then.
