He won't get it but that dude is effin' incredible
That is completely true. Denver does play in one of the worst divisions ever. It's a joke. Six games against cakewalk defenses. Also forgot to mention that MIN has incredible FBs, too.
We'll agree to disagree. I understand what you're saying 100%...I just go the other way on it. I think both are very deserving and at the end of the day, if the NFL has a clue, they'll just let both share each.
It looks like Minnesota will win this game. Blair Walsh is a monster kicker. Jesus...AD almost broke that one for the record...
Isn't it ironic that if Walsh misses, he'll prob get the record?

Underappreciated by Nole fans. Kid had a highly obscure condition that wasn't fully understood and wasn't allowed to heal properly.
I think now we understand why Jimbo continued to put him out there when the idiot fans kept screaming for EJ.
Hahaha, he damn sure almost proved you wrong!
If they can both share it than do that. Manning and Peterson are having Monster seasons and both probably deserve it. I completely see where you are coming from as well. Comeback Player of the year should probably split by both as well. AD came back really quick but Manning came back from a much more serious injury.
What was the condition? I know he had the bursa sac, are you saying they weren't sure how to treat it.
I hear you on EJ. I was a pretty hefty defender of his after the NCST game but man....
IKR. 9 yds short. Would have been cool to see him break it
Why is there such a rush to judgement on Ponder? QBs can take some time to develop. Brees looked like a huge bust after his first few years. Once upon a time not too long ago, it was commonplace for a QB to sit for a year or three before being handed the reigns.
I'm growing weary of this age of instant gratification. Everyhing just has to happen NOW or it sucks and will never be good. I just don't get it.
Yes Minny's line can run block but they are underwhelming in pass pro. I don't need grades to tell me this, I just watch the damn games. And yes his receivers suck. And Ponder right now is average. But to just summarily dismiss him is idiotic. Lets give him some time, eh?

I don't think anyone is summarily dismissing him. Like I said, I think he'll be serviceable.
From what I understand, they weren't sure where the fluid was coming from at first (nor why). They just drained it and moved on. Then, once they DID figure it out, rest was the only thing that was going to let it heal, but obviously he kept playing, and it affected his game (See Boston College 2010).
Do you care to actually quote the person who you're bitching at? Nobody ITT is dismissing him. He missed some throws today, but overall played pretty well. Most think he'll progress once they get him some help.
It's getting to the point where nobody can openly discuss anything without someone crying about it.
Ok, I wasn't sure if you were saying that it was something most of us hadn't heard, though I didn't know that they didn't know where the fluid was coming from. Dudes a gamer.
Think he's bitching at me partially in terms of the OL. I was in a spirited discussion with my man Mr. Macintosh, though, about the merits of AD as MVP...was not talking about Ponder at all.
Kalil can pass block fine. The rest of the line can't.
CP had zero talent at receiver today and their coaching staff knows this. Molasses Mike is horrible. Today might have been his first positive contribution this season. Harvin wants out. He has serious talent, but he can't stay healthy and seems like a bit of a primadonna. Out today obviously. Jerome Simpson sucks. I'm a Bengals fan. I know. Perhaps the coolest play in the 2011 season, but did nothing other than that. Other than ship a few pounds of pot to his house and get busted.
Rudolph is okay, but he doesn't separate well from defenders. The Wright kid who caught the bomb might have some potential...looked good on that double move route. Basically, they are going to need to draft some talent to surround Ponder with. Good thing is...Ponder runs the playaction very, very well, and they have AD.
I probably should've said so, but it was more of a response to posts over the last few weeks. Seems like many just don't want to give him a chance. And I wasn't the biggest fan of his game at FSU so it's not like I'm playing favorites.
My bad if it came across a little harsh.
Meh. Be harsh all you want. Just didn't see what in this thread had set you off.
Agree that people are too harsh on him. It's a miracle that team is in the playoffs.
I wish he would have broken it. Best RB in the League and MVP.
