ponder is starting to take over in this game. hes transitioning some from game manager to playmaker here. that 65yarder was a thing of beauty
FSU Ambassador to the masses
The Vikes DL is relentless
That Ponder TD pass was pure luck. Should have been picked.
Minnesota's secondary is absolutely terrible. They are taking the worst angles on pass breakups and tackle attempts
I'm hoping for OT so AP can have enough time to break the record.
He's looked good in some spots, but he is far to erratic to be anything more than a game manager right now
hes erratic but he looked cool calm and collected there. all season hes looked nervous and unsure and has missed a ton. any other time that throw is an interception but he looks confident today. once green bay gets a td here we are going to see what ponder and the vikings are made of

Yep. He missed a wide open TD on the previous drive on 1st down. He made that throw a million times at FSU
Sorry, disagree with a lot of your post.
Peterson has a great run-blocking o-line. It's graded out as the third best run blocking team in the league this year, behind only SF and NEP. This is based on assignments and making your blocks.
Center John Sullivan has graded out as the top center in the league and also the top run blocking center in the league.
Phil Loadholt has graded out in the top-ten of all tackles (left and right) in the league in run blocking. He's a monster who they love running behind. I think he was actually even better run blocking two seasons ago (he got better at pass pro last season).
Vikings defense is actually above average in the NFL.
Rodgers' OL has been up and down. Watch the game. He's constantly moving around b/c the pocket can't stay together. Additionally, they graded out as one of the worst run blocking lines int he laegue, unsurprisingly.
Finley is terrible. I don't know why you're saying that he has good TEs. Crabtree is pretty good at blocking, I guess. Watch a Packers game and you'll see why Rodgers hates Finley and Finley will not be back next year. He runs the wrong routes, sucks at blocking, and has the dropsies. Rodgers keyed in on Cobb all yaer instead.
The Pro Bowl means NOTHING for O-linemen. It's all about reputation and not how you actually played that year.
I agree that Manning has more weapons around him, but he also got further than Peterson, no? 13-3 season.

im curious to see what happens when they finally get him some real receivers. outside of harvin who isnt a deep threat hes got nobody with size. im amazed hes done as well as he has. plus having peterson means they arent going to give him a ton of passes anyway. frazier wants to ground and pound and play defense
AP's reconstructed knee I'd say.
I might be the only person here pulling for GB haha. I want to see Jay Cutler in the playoffs. It's too entertaining.
Wait the one were the reciever streteched caught it with both hands hit the ground and dropped it, surely you cant be serious
As he should. Ponder was great in college he's been below average to average in the pros
We are going to agree to disagree on this. Peterson in my opinion is having the best season and coming back from his injury makes it all the more impressive to me.
Manning going 13-3 is better than the Vikings but also comes in probably the worst divisions in the NFL.
Yep. At some points, it seems that all the things we loved about him at FSU just escape his brain. It's been noted numerous times that he struggles w/ progressions, accuracy, etc. He was dynamite at FSU in that regard.
He's got that screen play down, though...that's for sure.
No I think he means the one where Ponder led the WR about a foot and a half to much making a routine throw and catch much more difficult.
he came into a strange situation. he was supposed to sit last year and that didnt happen. hes got no receivers for 2 years and a horrendous defense in 2011. i figured he would have davd carr syndrom from being sacked so much last year. he shows flashes of what he can really do. i think if he is given time he can really blossum into a good qb. hes not going to be aaron rodgers good but i think he can be a very solid qb
Totally agree here then. I do think he'll be a serviceable pro.
I think you mean "dove.
And he had a yard or two separation from the DB...should've been an EASY 6.
That's the one. I distinctly remember giving my television a gratifying scream. I root way too hard for that kid.
Yep. Almost looked like he was fixing to take off then went "oh wait...he's REALLY open".
Been some disgusting coverages blown in this game. The Packers 3rd TD was just downright comical. Not a Viking defender w/ in 15 yards
He also missed a TD pass in the first quarter where the receiver was pretty open as well
Yep. He's easily one of my favorite Noles. I can't tell you why, I just like the kid.
