Heaven forbid we get to host one.
Tech has to go to Clemson again this year?
Per his tweet.
Admin doesn't want to. We did host in the late 90's with NCState and for some reason they considered it a logistical nightmare as many of the booster lots on Saturday's are Student/Teacher parking on weekdays. They would have to cancel school for at least Thursday and possibly Friday that week. Might work if a holiday like Veteran's day fell on a Thursday, but that is about it.
Prior to the 2011 season Spetman floated the idea/possibility of FSU once again hosting on Thursday night. It didn't happen. But the idea was on the table as recently as two seasons ago.
Sucks for Clemson and Miami

with 2 byes this would have been the prefect year to do. they explored the possiblility of having it during fall break last year but Jimbo did not want to go that long without a bye
GT has two. That sucks.
Only 4? I feel like we usually have more than that.
