Looks like the acc will go at least 3 - 3, not bad.
I don't get the whole conference pride stuff. Pick ONE team. Maybe two if you somehow have affiliation with two. But a whole conference?
And if that does not scream "The Best Conference in College Football" then I don't know what does.
The Big XII can keep their money.
Should be 4-1 right now. Duke's loss was a joke.
I think a lot of stems from two-loss SEC teams being ranked ahead of one loss ACC teams. These wins help to shift the perception.
I don't either, but if the SEC is going to toot their horn, you better sure believe I will too.
From our board
...was the first ACC win this season versus a non-conference ranked opponent. That's right, the ACC has beaten only ONE ranked team outside of the ACC in 2012 (going 1 for 11).
Clemson's win was the second ACC win versus the SEC this year... out of EIGHT games played.
, are you crying because your precious sec lost a game?

No, not crying.
Just thought it was interesting. Is it not?
For years I felt the same. Feel it is pretty silly. But such is the silly world of college football right now. Perception matters, and it will only increase once we get to the playoffs, when there will be an incredible race to control perception about conference strength. If the perception is that the ACC sucks (which is the correct perception this season), then a team like FSU will have close calls about getting selected for the playoff (or one of the "access" bowls) made against them. This is pretty much the way things are going and they will only get worse. In this day and age, we have little choice but to pick up the flag for the conference brethren.
