Here's the Sun Sentinels take:
Booker T. Washington's Denver Kirkland is one of Florida's best offensive line prospects, and he looked set to sign with the Miami Hurricanes on National Singing Day. But the Hurricanes are no

Doesn't seem to be one.....
Ahhh, the good ole "Because I said so" defense.
I like this Golden fella. He will be a nice long term FSU assistant coach.

I thought the article was a poorly written slant piece. Sorta slams the kid and takes Golden's side of things sight unseen.
So essentially still no reason given. The Sun-Sentinel says trust CAG.
So now Kirkland "didn't answer straight forward?"
What a joke. I think not committing is a pretty straight forward answer. You are either willing to wait for the kid or you aren't. I'm glad we are.
BTW, what makes this a slant piece is that they ignore the fact that Golden, the "enthusiastically" proven top notch recruiter took until days before NSD to figure out "that a Kirkland-Miami union wouldn't have worked."
pretty bush league writing to go after a HS kid the way this article is.
lol at saying he has enthusiastically proven himself in recruiting.
So basically 'you should trust this awesome coach who has recruited a bunch of 3stars and gone 13-11...just because'? If Nick Saban did something like this, you could give him the ole 'he knows what he's doing and has the results to prove it' benefit of the doubt. Al Golden? Not so much. That sort of credibility has to be earned.
'Wow' at the last line.

I thought the same thing. Not sure where such an endorsement is coming from other than unadulterated bias.
That's one way to spin it I guess....
