So we all know that FSU needs to sign 5-6 OL prospects for this class ( they have 3 with one on the fence )
Everybody agree ? okay good
So the ? is
Will Trickett swing and miss on Kirkland, Tunsil and whoever else they are looking at ? already missed on a good share of kids offered ( Moore and Johnson among others )
Will FSU end up singing one of them and end up finding a diamond in the rough LT from Istanbul who FSU later finds out to be a woman with no eligibility once she arrives on campus ?
Will FSU and Trick Daddy miss on both Kirkland and Tunsil, and only sign the 3 ?
Will they add some random doods from america that nobody has ever heard ?
How is this very serious situation gonna play out ?
Discuss ...... should be an interesting finish, I already got my popcornz readies
for the best....... but as always Im preparing for the worst cause I know how Trickett likes to party when it comes to the recruitingz
All Hail the Trickster
You feeling ok Nova?
I think this is a good thread no ? its easily the most important aspect of this class leading up to NSD
FSU badly needs talented tackle prospects

Dis gonna be goods
Have 3 good prospects committed, but will they stay committed? Think we land Tunsil and Kirkland and or one of those two and some Soccer/Karate kid from Chile, am I on the right track here Nova?
Im feeling some random dudes. I think we'll land Kerr and another "project" who'll never see the field.
Welcome back Nova. haha. You've been gone too long...
Seriously though, Im looking for serious posts on this issue cause like it or not this is a huge part of this class
RB = check ( Collins is icing on the cake if it happens )
WR = check ( Coley and Stevens are possible and both would be icing on the cake of an already deep unit )
TE = don't need one really
DE = Hollin and Bellamy are solid and Tim Williams is rumored to have FSU in the lead now
DT = Bryant and Senat seem very likely, only need 1 but 2 would be nice
LB = already a home run imo, Thomas is icing on the cake
DB = Solid with 2 5 stars left in the table that FSU stands a great chance at
OL again is the one position that begs the most questions, even if a miracle happens and FSU gets Tunsil... that likely means Golson moves on... so who is gonna be the 4th, 5th and maybe 6th options ?
I can't help but wonder if FSU will once again strike out here, if so... will FSU finally find a new OL coach ? or just head into 2014 and beyond with major holes along the most important unit on a football team
Im all for a soccer player if he is willing to kick Fowler in the face with an epic roundhouse
That alone would be worth passing on Tunsil imho
More "Trickett guys"
Good grief he was a mistake. We were so desperate for change we would have signed Obama to coach our OL
Kinda hafta agree.. When you look at a team like Alabama, they have had a litany of 1st rounders along the O-Line since Saban has been there and, consequently, their running game has been fantastic and to top it off, they have mediocre quarterbacks who do so well because of minimal pressure. The game is so often decided by the trenches. We're so stacked on the D-Line, but after our starting 5 O-Line we're pretty suspect.. It's just so short-sighted.
Most I know and respect from the Miami camp seem to think Kerr doesn't have a frame to add much weight, which of course means he is perfect for Trickett
But seriously, he sounds like a TE all the way from what Im told ( I have asked a bunch of people about him from the Canes side )
I wouldn't mind Kerr as a blocking TE though
Tunsil is a NSD decision so Golson will have to sign likely before his decision is made. Fact is we need them both
Can you imagine if we miss on Tunsil and Kirkland and say Golson decides to leave anyways ?
Im telling the staff right now, if that happens... you might as well ban me before I even get the chance post
Cause I promise you all hells will break loose
Ill be running around DC just looking for people to kick in the face
The best part is that Golson and Tunsil play DIFFERENT positions. I just don't get how us bringing in Tunsil would affect Golson.. Everybody has been projecting Golson to RT and Tunsil is a prototypical LT... DIFFERENT positions, Austin.

Nah dude, kids can hold out and he will, bet that
That is just Trickett being Trickett and not selling the aspects of team needs well
Standard really, he thinks calling them powder puffs and correcting their mistakes from a high school game is more important than making sure they actually arrive on FSU's campus ready to kill and get to work
Troll post on RT referring to FSU as "they."
Oh yeah. Won't be long now.
"It's not the SEC conference vs. the ACC conference," "It's Florida State vs. Auburn." --Lamarcus Joyner
Golson can also play guard
This isn't a troll at all, I always try and add some humor and I realize my humor isn't for everybody
Im sorry, I though this was america

This is actually pretty tame for Nova, get in while it lasts
And yes Nova is about as bad a fan as there is out there. His idea of fanship is the constant and violent derision of all things FSU, declaring repeatedly that he actually hates FSU, and constant fraternization/complimenting Cane fans. He's a certifiably insane person.
Its a DC fan thing, you wouldn't understand
You try being a glass half full kind of guy when your favorite player ever gets murdered in his prime
Try being a Wizard fan and watching them give a hundred million to Gil Arenas, and drafting some douch bag Gator who had no business going in the first round
Try watching the Redskins have 16 QB's in as many seasons and almost as many coaches
Try it, I dare you.... all while watching the one team you love the most ( FSU ) slip into the depths of hell while Florida is winning Heisman's and BCS's titles and knowing that they do everything well from inside the program
December 21st can get here soon enough, I just hope the Mayans were right

I am a real person, I congratulate others from time to time. You have become one of them.
Hard to say trickett has been anything short of awful.
He hasn't fielded a good line in 6 years. We have had 3 awful, one not that good, and two solid years.
He has also missed on recruit after recruit who we should have gotten.
How long until Rodney Hudson becomes a 2 star joke in the same realm as ed reed was a 2 star justifies the terrible recruits miami brought in.
Coley Cubana sweet talked Matias late in the process and jimbo added tre Jackson late. Where would we be without them?
Now I could take tricketts lack of recruiting if he was a superstar coach but his ol has underperformed since he has been here
I would be SHOCKED if we got tunsil or Kirkland.
Another thing is this years unit is highly over-rated due to the pathetic defenses FSU faced
And the UF game rush stats are not nearly what they would have been if you take away EJ running on a prevent defense late in the 4th quarter
FSU was beyond lucky they didn't have any injuries
I would be shocked if guys like Lovelady, Foose ( still have never even laid eyes on this kid.. not once ) Pettis and Glauser could start for a school like Murray State and actually perform well, yet alone an actual D1 program
Some of the kids he recruits are just puzzling beyond belief
-15 yards rushing against VT is so astoundingly bad I don't even know how to troll it, it confuses me that much
And then you hear how this years unit was young... true... but he has been here 6 years now, there is no excuse to have a young OL if he just recruited well year after year... we should always have at least 3 or 4 seniors on the OL, this season FSU had zero!!!!!... that is a huge failure of recruiting its not even funny.... especially when nobody is leaving early for that is one excuse for something like that happening
