    Scout.com: 12 For '12 - Coaches Needing Big Springs

Brian Kelly has done a good job at Notre Dame, but now it's time to do more. Who are the other coaches who are looking to get off to a hot start? Richard Cirminiello highlights the coaches who'll have the spotlight shining on them all season long, starting now.

  • What a bunch of horse crap.

The article neglects to mention FSU's injury bug and neglects to say that the "lackluster" win over ND was accomplished with an OL comprised entirely of freshmen.

The way the FSU staff conducts themselves, relates with players and recruits, and the integrity they show will be difficult to duplicate. There is no way this is plausible.

Won't matter anyway. NC team. BCS bowl at least.

    Book it.

  • Garbage article, only half should be on that list.

"Muschamp squandered his good will" Unh? After their recruiting class they pulled in?

    Mack Brown at #1?

I can understand Brian Kelly, but not so much the others.

And, the author needs to look up the meaning of the word squandered.

Sah! I like your style Sah!
It's a good thing we have our own forums to interact with each other. If one has limited exposure to our team's journey, then they have a tendency to not ask anything about how - they just ask how many.

This cat is speaking as to an end result relative to initial (and over-reaching in my book) expectations only the way I see it. Didn't take any time to do in depth research as to in season developments.

Bandy the Seminole Cat just passed gas sick in his general direction.

  • does the injury bug excuse really work?? our OL was awful even when healthy and not starting freshman... the only other significant injury was Haulstead and hes far from an elite talent we missed

    Surely, you can't be serious.

3 games lost with EJ out and one that we gave away.

Two 35-30 losses on the road with a freshman QB. Doesn't seem to me like it was the OL that cost us the 3 games.

Keep spewing venom with no facts.

not trying to start an arguement.. i just believe our record/season results would have been nearly the same had we stayed healthy all year... our ol was just bad and that wasn't changing

He neglects to acknowledge Datko's, Spurlock's, Orelus', Sanderson's and Snider's injuries. All 5 of them were injured before the season started. That clearly had an affect on our unit.

    We were never healthy upfront!!!

I think we beat Clemson and Wake with EJ

With Datko, Spurlock, etc we get on track running if they a healthy

Ou beat us and we choked at UVA

10-2 or 11-1 with no injuries and we beat WvU in the Orange

  • 2-0 in bowls
    2-0 against UF
    2-0 against Miami

2 stellar recruiting classes. He is going to have to prove to me he'll fail.

  • I have a hard time believing jimbo on the hot seat this year. Now if we don't excel as some high boosters expect he maybe next year. I personally want him here. I like him. I do feel a article like this is just stirring the pot. Wish I was on computer so I could use that emoticon.

  • 4 losses and the seat get hot. 5 and it gets scorching. There is no excuse for having any loss with this crap schedule but more than 2 and no acc title and he gains nothing.

We did have 4 true ol against ND. the good: the 4 Freshmen looked good in the 2nd half. the bad: the upperclassmen ol as a whole looked like crap the whole year.

There was nothing wrong with the article. We were HUGE underachievers last year. losing to two unranked teams and only one that finished in the top 20 is good?

Do you know USF, UF, UM, Clemson and VT are on the schedule?
