I wish you could read what they say on their 247 site. They think their class is better than ours, because Jimbo won't get them to be united like a family, and their class is better because our players have to many stars next to their name, so it won't be all about the team, etc

My Cane friend e-mailed me this from Ferman.

"It should be noted that FSU and Florida signed a total of one player from Dade and Broward who the Canes would have taken late in the process and that was CB Willie Bailey. Since UM signed six corners, including two who are considered better prospects, even that wasn't a major loss. Bottom line -- Golden and his staff did a great job keeping the other two out of south Florida and expect that to become a regular trend here again."

It should be noted that Dade/Broward was down this year, and Florida State only aggressively went after Tracy Howard and Ricardo Louis from what I could tell. Hell, we only signed six players total (one gray-shirting) from the entire state of Florida in this class, period. But, go ahead and spin it to make it look like Golden is putting up some fence around Dade/Broward.
