starters aren't bad. though there's not a single player on that offensive 2-deep that will have to be game planned for. i think Chick is a good player on defense and Perryman showed some things for them last season.
a winning season is a good goal imo and possible if they stay healthy and get some of these guys to play above their heads.
elephant in the room is the sanctions that are still looming. if Golden gets this team to 8 wins then he's coach of the year in the acc and up for national honors as well.

Based on what factual evidence? Not your opinion but real fact based evidence. Real evidence suggests FSU is perfectly fine with miami being bad to mediocre. See the the mid 90's when miami was on probation and not very good. FsU played for multiple mnc's and was ranked top 4 every year! Real evidence in the 80's and early 2000's show that a good miami hurts FSU(see all loses to miami that cost us mnc chances.) No evidence exists that FSU is better off with miami being good.
