Who cares about the NFL? Neither FSU nor Miami play in that league. But to your point, FSU is right behind Miami in terms of players drafted since 2000: 67 versus 59. There isn't a significant difference there.

I love when canes result to NFL talk and the 5>2 talk when they cannot talk about the results on the field.

I guess UM will have all their swagger squeezed out of them by the NCAA. Can't wait to watch the Noles whip them again in Sun Life.

I like to see whats going down in Tallahassee. I would never read a Gator board, but the Nole board is ok. I know some people up there and have watched many of your players in high school. I always look for info on all the teams in the ACC. Unlike most fans I want all the ACC teams to go undefeated out of conference. Plus I loved Bobby Bowden, P-Dub and Prime Time. My best friend is a Nole and we talk sh*t to each other, but we have watched every Miami - FSU game together for the last 20 years.

How many of those coaches are still at Miami?
Are those players still at Miami too?

If you don't have the same coaches developing those players, the potential of current players is irrelevant to who coached there before. I mean, Butch Davis isn't coming back to coach your current players. So, it really does not matter who coached there before and what players he put in the NFL. Program tradition means something to recruits and recruits can see that Miami and FSU have very strong traditions--although both have been "down" in recent years. The mystique of an FSU and Miami remains.

Both schools also have their busts. It's part of CFB that rankings and the intangibles of recruits don't always pan out to All-Americans and NFL #1 picks. Recruiting has it's risks and rewards. Both FSU and Miami will continue to get talent, but the abundance of that talent may be diminished for Miami with the potential of the NCAA sanctions looming. In a talent bed as hot as south Florida, everyone knows that Miami CAN be a contender if the NCAA doesn't hit them hard.

Now, we come to Bryant.....will he go somewhere that has the potential to be sanctioned during his entire college career? Many think he will not risk it. Now, if the NCAA doesn't hit Miami (although most, including Miami fans, do think they will get hit), he may very well end up at Miami. Bryant is a great player and any school would love to have him. He will make the best decision for him and his future.

Rlmao. Once they get to the NFL it's up to the individual to make things happen. Just like how Boldin, Timmons, Simon and a bunch of other Noles made it happen.
