After the way this team started the fact we are even going to make the tourament is mind blowing. I can't believe my eyes when I see a 4 next to our name.

ok, dumb question....when are the brackets actually set? I'm assuming we still have a chance to bomb in the ACC tourney and see things change dramatically.

They are set on Sunday night after all of the conference tournaments are over with.

The Duke game is huge. If we win that game I think our ceiling is a 3 seed and a 4 seed looks pretty good as long as we dont have another BC game. Lose that, I think we would have to win ACCT to get a 3 seed. 4 seed would likely be our ceiling if we lose to Duke, but Im not complaining about a 4 seed.
To be honest, a 4 seed may be better than a 3 seed thinking about it. Not much difference between 5/6 seeds if you ask me, and Id rather play a 2 seed after that instead of Kentucky/Cuse/Mizzou. If we were in the bracket with the 4th 1 seed I dont think its too much different between whoever that is and the 2 seeds, but Cuse/Mizzou/Kentucky are on another level to me.

Agree. Except for the BC game this team has really come on in a remarkable way. Or maybe it was remarkable how bad we were early and now are more at a level we should be at.
We will need to be consistent going into march

Yeah, I never get too excited with a weekly ranking because next week this team can make it go Poof.
I like their effort, they need a consistent scorer. I hope we're seeing Ian Miller emerge now. He could be
the guy, like Tony Douglas was at FSU. Snaer and Dulky's have their moments but we need a zone buster.

I actually think the top half of the West Region in this bracket is pretty tough. Sparty at 1, UNLV at 5, and a dangerous Mississippi State team at 9. Noles would have their hands full with UNLV in the second round. I'd actually probably pick UNLV to win that matchup.

Beat Duke we probably move up to 3 seed and start sniffin a 2 seed if we close out the season 4-0. Just can't have a BAD loss in the ACCT

If we beat Duke then we probably get the #1 seed in the ACCT even if we lose another one. Duke and UNC still have to play eachother again. If we win out and dont bomb the first round of the ACC tourney then we are definitely flirting with a 2 seed which is absolutely insane.

Yeah the world would seriously be freezing over at that point. It's hilarious to imagine, but if we play like we're capable, we ca be a 2 seed.

I would take the region the new Bracketology has us in right now. We're a four and the only teams I would worry about are Mich St and Memphis (would face each other in 2nd rd), UNLV and Kansas. Creighton has been bad lately and neither Gtown or Zags scare me much.
