According to Kimberly Schiff, he's booked as stated. I also wouldn't blame him for being bitter (if he is). I'd be a little uneasy if i gave 34 years of my life and sacrificed as much as he did to get axed 1 year before his scheduled retirement. Not a way to respectfully end a legendary career.

He may indeed be bitter, but I seem to recall him saying in an interview last year (hope I'm remembering it correctly) that when he was at West Virginia whenever something went wrong everyone would say, "What does so-and-so former coach think, or what would he have done." My recollection of the interview is that Bobby said he felt that there was always that hanging over him and it made his job tougher and that he vowed when he was done he'd stay away to give his replacement plenty of breathing room. It reminds me a little of Danny Ford and Clemson; seems like whenever anything goes wrong there, Danny Ford is on the radio or in a newspaper to stoke some fan angst.
For all the bashing about him not hanging around, my guess is that if he was hanging around and trying to cast a shadow he'd face some bashing for that. As far as I'm concerned, I don't have any problem with him being bitter; I understand it. FSU still did the right thing and what was necessary, but I can still understand if he isn't happy about it.
