Booster-Recruit interaction on Twitter

Hi guys I did a search on this but couldn't really find an answer. As a booster, is it okay for me to use Twitter to congratulate a recruit on choosing FSU if he announces it on Twitter? Obviously I know I can't recruit him but just to say welcome aboard? Also, what about interaction with current players on Twiiter? Thanks so much!

I am a Golden Chief, and I was told in a very explicit way to make 0 contact with prospective players or recruits when I gave my money.
That included Facebook, Twitter, and other digital media.

Yeah, I'd just stay away. You can always follow the general guideline that Booster or not, you probably shouldn't contact high school kids you don't know. Next thing you know you're outside Miami Central in a Garnet & Gold panel van handing out high fives and orange slices. Don't be that guy, leave that to the Miami fans.

I don't follow them. I follow TomahawkNation and when he retweeted Jesus Wilson saying he wouldn't take any more visits and would be coming to FSU I thought about sending a "welcome aboard" tweet because you know how these guys can't get enough "showing the love" but decided it might not be a good idea. I'm a booster and have also received literature saying not to contact recruits in any way.
