Already at 275 as a freshman I think 20lbs of muscle this off season would be easy for him. Playing at 300lbs - 305lbs what are your thoughts of moving him inside? With all the DEs coming back and all the ones coming in I think he could be our best DT, beast.

I think the plan is to leave him outside. They like those big, physical defensive ends that are all-purpose.

I don't see him moving inside anytime soon. We will already have a log jam of talent on the inside next season...

We need to get away from the mentality of thinking that 260-275 lb guys being bulked up and moving inside. If you look at the DE's at LSU (Marcus Spears, as Bush pointed out), that is the size that Jimbo wants outside. We are recruiting guys like Niles who are already 300 lbs to play inside.

Wasn't that with saban running a 3-4. I agree with being bigger up front, however, we don't need 290 - 300 lbs DE in a 4-3. I've seen more burst off the line from him than any DT that got playing time this season.
