The SEC has NEVER needed or will ever need FSU to make money or survive. It's funny that you throw ND in there because that will be the only way the BIG 12 may leap the SEC in vaule. Adding FSU and Clemson makes the Big12 as strong as the SEC?
in what?
Slive>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ACC+B12 Commish
Also all the talk about "better" TV deal is pretty pointless because each time one of the Big 4 signs a new deal its going to thrump the others (SEC Network or ND being x-factors).

Talk to someone in the tv industry then decide who is the idiot.
I challenge you to find one tv exec (I have spoken to two about it) that thinks adding Mizzou was anything but a stupid move for the SEC.
Maybe you can point out to me what Mizzou gives to the SEC that it would not have given to the big 10. Unless you can show me something that would lead to more money for the SEC but would not have for the big 10 then it was not only a stupid move not only below the surface but also on its face.
How do you explain your conundrum that you know what I posted while having your ignore feature on?

Realignment is always about the money, never about the fans or the players.
Realignment is costly in terms of travel time for the players, travel costs for the school and exit fees for the school. But the school gets all the revenues and the players pay for it with their travel time. They're being used as labor yet they're treated as student-athletes. How can they find their own time to be a student??
Let's treat football players as human beings. Pay them a stipend. Avoid realignment.

"Big 12 not interested in expanding at this time.”
