IMO, while he was excellent in the NFL for a few years, Coles did not do enough in college to justify ranking him above Ponder. Not even close, really.

Coles was a key weapon on two national title teams
Was overshadowed by P Dubalicious but was an incredible player until being booted for having money hookups at Dilliards
He had a way better career than Ponder imo, all Ponder did was get hurt every year and also had the most embarrassing Heisman Campaign in FSU history
Ponder also never even won a ACC title, Coles had 3 and would have had 4

You are out of your mind. Coles was a glorified KR. It was a little shocking that he turned into such a solid pro because he only showed flashes at FSU. He was not "key" to anything as evidenced by us not skipping a beat upon his dismissal.
