how much do you buy into the "dead" bats and our lack of HR power. Looking at another Message board and saw a common theme. DeMarini bats are being swung by the majority of the nation's HR leaders and no teams using the same bats as FSU are anywhere in the top 10. Maybe its a strange coincidence, but something that might need a look.

My brother owns a sporting good store and while I do think we don't have a lot of power guys on our team, Bats have been toned down a ton across the board between BBCore ratings and other things. The whip and velocity bats have are down big time.
The thing that strikes me is that None of those teams listed are using the TPX Louisville Slugger bats. If we were to switch to Demarini, that also would come with Wilson Gloves since they are the same. Wilson Gloves are very good and when teams like LSU switch, its worth an argument
