Given Barron's statement one has to wonder if in his mind realignment is about the ability of FSU to make the play offs. Realignment is about the financial security of FSU. I have to wonder how well Barron understands what this is all about.

I'm not calling for his job nor do I think he is a bad president. He has done a very good job at FSU, I just disagree with his position on this matter. I do think your assumption that people here are not intelligent is without merit, however. Last time I checked being on a message board does not discount one from holding a prestigious title or prove one lacks intelligence.
It's not intelligence. It's maturity and understanding of how these things process through.
Me, I just read most of this stuff and laugh. Whatever is happening behind the scenes [I have no idea], will stay that way until it's a done deal [either way].
All this speculation is just that. I have to say, that where there is smoke you usually are going to find a fire.
