    This will be FSU's best shot at an Armwood prospect in years.

    I've talked with Bailey a couple times about FSU and he really likes coach Dawsey. The thing that plays into FSU's favor with this one is that Dawsey recruits Tampa and is the 'Noles WR coach.

    Bailey says he and his mom are going to make a trip to FSU this spring, if they come for the spring game, it would be huge. Bailey is open and FSU would be able to make a big impression that weekend.

    Probably the most talented option at the slot WR position, IMO.

  • Alvin's statements regarding Florida, imo shows how great of a job Jimbo and Co. have done in recruiting. Most of these Florida recruits remember the run UF had while we were going 7-6 thus making them Gator fans. However, FSU new coaching staff are making kids realize where the next run in the state of Florida is going to come from and that is why the FSU name is strong as its been since the Dynasty.

  • I have been hearing that FSU was a dynasty for 10 years now. It's where 4 star recruits go to waiost a lot of talent. Reminds me a lot of Clemson fans. Don't hold your breath waiting on that one. Although it looks like Clemson is finally showing a little progress.

    That's funny Keith, I first heard that USF had a football team 5 years ago. You guys are like a poor man's UCONN. Like a really poor man's. Like a man as poor as you are smart.

  • This kid would be a Gator the very second he's offered. Don't see him getting the offer though. It has nothing to do with what Jimbo has or hasn't sold to Florida kids. UF is a huge presence in Tampa, specifically at Armwood. Bailey is going to do everything he can to get that offer, then he'll move on. He's said as much several times already.

    The "little" guys that Urban stock piled for his spread seem to have left a bad taste for Muschamp and his staff. Same reason he won't offer JJ Green (Jaq's nephew and huge Gator fan) and one of the best playmakers in Georgia, is the same reason he won't offer Bailey. He doesn't like the smaller guys. Frankly, a football player is a football player imo. While Urban stocked a ton of midgets and its hurt us, taking one or two is fine imo. WM doesn't see it that way unless we miss on several WR's ahead of him.

    Bailey, Matt Jones and Leon McQuay are all close and all play/played together at Armwood. I'm rooting for them to get a chance to play together. but I just don't see it with Bailey.

    I agree that UF is huge at Armwood.
    Lawrence Dawsey is also HUGE in the Tampa area.
