BOT Meeting

I have seen on twitter that conf realignment is not on the BOTs agenda. Do they have to release everything on the agenda, and if so can the agenda be changed immediately? Thanks

I don't think you will hear about it just yet. Big 12 meetings start today and then we should start hearing something. @swaim is saying on twitter that we could hear something about us and clemson in the next few days. He has been pretty spot on so far. Right now its a lot of posturing on both sides.

I guess I wouldn't be surprised that the agenda will change after meetings end. I'm just shocked its not on at all. The thing that gets me is the process is supposed to be us coming out saying we want to leave acc then big 12 contacts us then we join. That is how the formal process is at least. I guess we did already say we should explore all other options. So now we just need the big 12 schools to vote us in this meetings which we will then announce we are leaving the acc. With the Big 12 "contacting" us for the "first time" and then we will accept an invite.

Well, item XIII on the agenda is Open Forum for Board Members. That would be a good, nondescript place to discuss things like that.
Also, I found it hilarious that Chairman Haggard's report is item XII on the agenda!

Also, the agenda isn't necessarily what to look at. If you guys are really curious, dig through the materials. So far, I've seen that Barron is asking for approval to accept title to the Tucker Center, and also approval for issuance of the bond for the IPF.

Yeah really more interested in the BIG 12 meetings now than our BOT meetings.

i think its more a legal issue, they cant discuss it (publicly) until they tell the ACC that they want to leave. they cant have discussions with anybody in the BIG 12. rumors are that everything have been going through a guy at WV(probably oliver luck))since they arent officially in the big 12 yet, they can act like a middle man. they can talk to the big 12 and they can talk to us. nothing is going to happen until the big 12 announces their new commissioner, bob bowlsby, on june 15. everything is just going to be denied publicly until then.
