EJ may be the 3rd best QB in the ACC, but I think Logan Thomas is trash.

Athlon sports is one of the worst magazines, and I am not saying ej is the best qb either.

I will take EJ over Logan Thomas any day of the week. Their stats were pretty much similar, and EJ played in one less game than LOgan without the running game or offensive line that Logan had.

Based on performance in the 2011 season, it's hard to disagree, e.g,. Clemson won the ACC, VT was the runner-up, etc. But when context is given to the 2011 season, EJ's #3 ranking is impressive and it's hard to imagine a scenario when he ranks worse in 2012:
1. FSU's 2011 OL was the worst in well over a decade
2. Only one OL (Sanders) who started in game 1 finished the season
3. FSU was forced to start 4 TRUE Freshmen in game 13
4. #110 in Sacks Allowed
5. #89 in TFLs Allowed
6. EJ was injured after game 3 (played with a fractured leg in the Champs bowl)

Desmond Howard picked EJ as the darkhorse heisman last season and his magazine outsells Athlon. I'll take Dez's word, he won a heisman. Athlon didn't.
Yes...I know Dez doesnt have a magazine...
