I don't care if you're a golden chief or iron arrow. Everyone here (I hope) wants the program to do well, to keep up with the metaphorical joneses, and to be able to retain our coaches. We can't do it without funding. If you aren't a booster, please join, even if for $5 a month. You will start accumulating points toward ticket priority for contributions and longevity and you will know that you are a part of the program's success.
I am a "Seminole Ambassador," meaning I am part of a volunteer group of existing boosters trying to recruit new ones. You can donate through me at http://one.fsu.edu/community/BoosterLauraBauman (the link is also in my signature). There are other posters who are ambassadors and I encourage them to provide their page links here as well. The important thing is to recruit new donors, so it doesn't matter to me whether you are "mine" or anyone else's, though I'd love to work with all of you.
If you aren't a booster and don't want to be one, please tell me why. It doesn't have to be in the thread so you can message me if you want to keep it private, because I genuinely want to know.

The way I see it, there's absolutely NO reason at all to not be a student booster if you go to FSU. You get GUARANTEED tickets to every home game. That alone should do it. They give you a t-shirt too.

I always wondered if Corey and Josh are boosters...is that allowed since they talk to all the prospects?

I'm not and this is the only reason why not. not sure its kosher with the ncaa or fsu.

I also encourage people to "Brag with the tag" and purchase the annual "TRUE Seminole" shirts. Proceeds of both go towards scholarship endowment. A tag is only $25 a year more on you renewal. You can also buy a tag gift certificate for family members etc.
I have the 2007, 2008 and 2009 versions of the shirt and I plan on buying the 2010 and 2011 one this summer/Fall.

I am a non alum from Ohio and I am a Booster and now season tickets holder. My wife thinks I love FSU more than her on gamedays that statement is sometimes true.

I agree.....although, getting tickets hasn't been an issue the last few years .
BTW, How does one acquire the Student Booster T-shirt?

I'm sure the compliance office would be able to tell them whether there is any feasible way to do it without creating a violation, if they wanted to, of course. I know 247 prides itself on being able to deliver impartial reporting.

I am, though im just an Iron Arrow. I start grad school coming up so my ass is already getting way into debt.
Once i graduate though i should be able to be a pretty good booster as physicians assistants do OK for themselves.

Good post Laura...u should consider starting a new thread on the ambassador program...we should have a goal of 100 247 junkies sign up or donate. For every person who signs up to donate or becomes an ambassador Dowlar will run naked through the quad.
We should also start a bail Corey out of jail fund.

I am a Booster and season ticket holder. I don't understand why you wouldn't be a booster. I mean $60 a year at least, that is 1 less drink at the bar per month to support your school/team.
Deserve got nothing to do with it...

I am a Iron Arrow yet I have never even been down to FSU, just been a die hard fan since I was a kid, still trying to get money saved up to fly down and go to my first FSU home game

Tomahawk and season ticket holder. It is so important that people give to Seminole Boosters. Brag with the Tag. Buy True Seminole gear. It all gets back to FSU and helps the University and its athletic programs tremendously!
