Anyone remember this brawl between FSU/LSU in 90?

The game was a blowout and we left at the start of the 4th quarter. I was sitting in Bennigans watching the end thinking "I wouldve stayed if I knew something exciting was going to happen" We just blew people out back then.

    Except....Miami....frustrated

  • This game wasn't a part of the five games in a row we played LSU from '79 thru '84. We played them in '89 and '91 in Baton Rouge and won those games also. Both were much closer games and the '91 game was played in a monsoon and we suffered some injuries that might have cost the '91 NC.

  • This could have been the best hangover (or so I thought) I have ever had . About a dozen LSU alums were jawing about their tradition to me & my roomate and I popped off (shockingly) what kind of idiot brags about a tradition of losing by 32. That is a quote. The reason I why I remember is they took it very well.

My blinding "intellect" caught the attention of 2 smoking lsu alums in their (so they said) late 20's. They were all over my roomate (in a good way) and myself.

Well, then this girl I was dating at the time shows up (smoking in her own right) and informs the LSU alums that I was taken. I was undecided about this fact. One of them says-"Don't worry honey, we'll give him back tomorrow."

Unfortunately, the cat fight was averted by cooler (not mine ) heads in the vicinity.

I was told by my roomate I hooked up with one of them. Maybe I wasn't quite to the hangover point after all or maybe it was the hair of the dog. I don't remember.

What does that have to do with the fight? Nothing at all. I saw it on highlights.

We almost blew them out the year before in '89.

The erector set felt like it was sitting on the San Andreas.
